Victimhood is the feminine energy

I hope this doesn't get banned as political. This might straddle the line but here goes. I noticed that women derive incredible power from victim hood. They do not derive shame in claiming to be victims of some offense either real or perceived. Real men derive shame from claiming that they are victims. To claim to be a victim is to admit being weak. Women do not have such compunction.

As long as they have incredible power in this society we will always have movements that embrace victim status. This includes fat shaming, single motherhood, identity politics, critical race theory etc. These are all a result of female paradigms. This is why men are so confused with what is going on in current events. It is fundamentally antithetical to everything it is to be a man.

I made this post because my sisters social media had a post on the need for pride month because LGTB people get called a slur an average of once a month or whatever etc blah blah. Im like dude, you are not even gay. Why must you champion EVERY victimhood position ever. First it was racial theory posts, now its gay post, next week it will be fat shaming post etc....damn

Oh btw you ever wonder why women LOVE movies about a guy cheating on them or domestic violence etc. It is because victimhood movies is like porn to them. They get off on it. It gives them attention only rivaled by their wedding day. Lifetime Channel built their whole business model on female victimhood movies.

Women may derive certain material benefits from their claimed victimhood (i.e. hiring practices aimed at increasing "diversity") but I don't know if it gives them "energy". Victimhood is not a healthy mindset to have and it does not lead to happiness or success. No one wakes up in the morning thinking "damn, it feels good to be a victim". The "liberated" women to today seem to be less happy then their "oppressed" mothers and grandmothers were at their age. The general vibe one gets from women these days is one of negativity. "The are no good men left", "OMG a woman only makes 97 cents for every dollar earned by man", "there aren't enough women running Fortune 500 companies", etc, etc. At the end of the day, a negative mindset leads to negative life experiences.

The same thing is happening with some minority groups. Blacks have been brainwashed for decades to believe that they are victims of racism an that they are still held back by slavery (which ended 150 years ago). While there is some discrimination against blacks today, allowing victimhood (whether real or perceived) to define you as a person is absolutely devastating in terms of one's personal development. This is why the black community is still, by far, the least successful ethnic group in America. They have allowed themselves to be convinced of their eternal victimhood. Recently, there has also been a push to convince asians that they are victims of "anti-asian hate". We will see how far they get with this.

Just wanted to quickly give my 2 cents on this.

I've been thinking about this a lot lately. Unfortunately, masculinity has become quite political. I feel like a decade ago, you were able to talk about masculinity and be labeled a misogynist only by the extreme feminist types. But nowadays, defending masculinity is extreme bigotry according to those in power and the idea that masculinity is "toxic" is starting to become more mainstream and regularly accepted.

I understand why political talk isn't allowed because it's extremely polarizing, but at the same time it's a big elephant in the room in a lot of discussions here. The sad thing about politics is that it's found an ugly way to sneak into regular life without the average joe even knowing it. And from my experience here, this forum isn't just a straight up "PUA, game, and f*ck everything that walks" kind of forum. From the way I see it, it's one of the few sanctuaries left to discuss all things masculine and it's relationship with social dynamics between the sexes. That in itself is political. But in general, I think this place does a good job of not getting derailed by politics by deflecting and focusing on immediate and specific topics.

Now, to get back on topic, this is one of the things that's pretty worrisome. Can you imagine victimhood was once frowned upon and the norm for society? It is definitely a feminine energy. The societal problem that I see happening is that men know they're being victims and being feminine, but they think that it's the moral position. If a loser becomes a loser and he knows he's a loser and becomes depressed about it, at least he understands that he's a loser and it's probably resulted from his own actions. He knows that deep down a man shouldn't be this way, and he's remorseful about it. But In the case of today, if one lives his life a certain way which makes him become a loser, society celebrates him.

Women, in my opinion, have 2 modes of thought, submission and victim. Submitting to a strong man builds her reputation, but submitting to a weak one hurts her reputation so the victim card is played as damage control when its not outright legitimate and most of the time, it is legit to a certain degree in my experience.

It won't be removed and I'd be happy to clarify why for future reference. While these topics are often debated in politics, there wouldn't be much we wouldn't remove if the critera was that it had been discussed politically since pretty much everything is. What we don't want is discussions on the level of this or that side, this or that party or anything else directly political.

Keeping to a subject even if heavily debated in politics is fine, having a metadiscussion about the politics surrounding the subject is not fine. That's when people stop discussing the actual subject and instead engage in a pissing contest purely because they dislike the other side.

Almost everything can be discussed, placing a restriction on directly involving politics elevates the quality of the discussion and reduces many of the problems.

It's my opinion that events such as "pride march" "Juneteenth" (in this day and age) and "women's day" etc... are a paradox.

I am 100% behind events like "Special Olympics" but the above events are anything but "empowering." Actually, the above events/holidays further instill the self-identity image that you're different, inferior and in need of coddling.

Nobody drives the speed limit, they either drive over or under.
I usually drive five miles over, that seems safe to me. Although I notice most people seem to drive about 10 miles over the speed limit, and that's probably usually okay, but I don't feel comfortable with it for the purpose of avoiding tickets.

I do get pulled over sometimes, I have a hunch they were looking for someone with a car like mine. But then they're like "Oh, it's just some poor old bastard, let him go", and I get a warning. Now that I'm older, anyway. When I was younger they would ticket me every time.

I bet that it's not just white cops pulling you over. Your experience is unfortunate but is not necessarily a result of racism. Statistically speaking, black men are about 5-6 times more likely to be involved in murder, robbery, carjacking and other violent offences. That is a fact. When there is a shooting or a bank robbery, the call that goes out, more often than not, starts with "the suspect is a black male..." Now that, of course, doesn't mean that every black guy is a criminal but it explains why you are far more likely to have facetime with cops compared to an average white grandmother.

As a black male allow me to gently give my opinion on this. Cops do sometimes unnecessarily pull black males over. I have had this happen in front of my own home. But these instances are not life changing racism. The racism today are just minor annoyances. Race does not stop you from achieving happiness in this life.

Nothing is going to be 100% perfect. But 99% of the obstacles in a black mans life have nothing to do with race. Im okay with this. By constantly complaining we are doing a disservice to the civil rights activists that died to give us these freedoms.

But lets not make this a thread on race or else it will be shut down.

It is true that cops do target you if you are black and are in an affluent neighborhood. My parents live in a nice area and I get pulled over like once every 2 years for no reason. Then they ask if i really live there. But most cops are cool. But again my family has hurt me way more than any racism has. 99% of my issues have nothing to do with race.

Well said and that’s exactly my point. Using a few minor annoyances as a crutch and wallowing in self-pity is for weak people.

I’m not black but I am an immigrant. Many immigrants have an inferiority complex - they feel like second class citizens because they came from a sh!tty country, because they have no roots here, because they speak with an accent, because people can’t pronounce their name or because of some other stupid reason. I could have been sitting on my @ss and whining about how being an immigrant kept me from achieving my dreams. Instead, I worked hard and became more successful than the vast majority of people born in this country.

Okay, I was going to speak on masculinity, but this is probably a very good moment for me to step in on something that matches the topic at hand in a very unique way.

What you guys are seeing is actual feminine energy, the one that got instilled into the black community through single mother households. Victimization is separate from feminine energy, but victimhood is a symptom of said energy regardless. Real men accept that life isn't fair and adjust their actions accordingly. Women and children blame external factors that the world is not fair. In this case, EyeBRolling is saying that the world isn't fair that he gets stopped by police. However, instead of dealing with it like Pandora does, he is crying just like any black activist does. That's the feminine energy leaking out of him, and is one of the instances where the victimhood and feminine energy are coming from the same place.

EyeBRolling, if you cannot accept the unfairness of life, you will never have success at all.
