One thing I've noticed a lot on these kinds of forums is that men dedicate years of their lives to getting pusssy, their self-image as a successful man is based on their ability to get pusssy and the number of women they've slept with, and yet they write posts saying that women should not be having sex until marriage or should be having as little sex as possible.

You can't expect a more conservative society to affect everyone else except you. I see a lot of hypocrisy where men that have had a lot of sex themselves are trying to promote conservative values for other people.

Who are you going to have sex with, then, if you don't want women to have sex? If women are having less sex, then so are you.

I always thought of it as two different perspectives. On the one hand you had people preaching patriarchy and the other it was all about how many women they can rack up.

I think this issue is like having kids: the people who would make the worst parents are also the least likely to have any self-reflection or care about it. Likewise, it takes a lack of self-reflection and/or morality in order to be an unforgiving hypocrite in the first place, so the fact that one thing goes hand in hand with another shouldnt be a surprise.

I've lived in both liberal western countries and in very conservative ones. For all the problems, I much rather have the freedom to choose my own path in life that you have in a liberal country.

I don't think the solution is to go backwards. The past is not all rainbows and unicorns for men or for women. Having other people, such as your family, continuously watching over you and dictating your personal life is not something to aspire to.

I agree, but the people who advocate for those kinds of "solutions" dont think theyll be on the receiving end of them, and that's the key. Their infidelity and casual sex is not supposed to count, only that of their intended targets. They will then project and hamster wheel how those things are just "natural" for them and thus it's right of them to behave that way, like samspade said.

Actions are not a life sentence, people make mistakes and the ones that are caught get labelled/punished, but for every crime there is a consequence and when you are exposed to that consequence yourself, you begin to see the world for what it is, not necessarily what you thought it was.

The answer is that men are far more helpful to other men. We want to see our male peers have improvements, and we are aware that ****ing every girl we see will have consequences. The thing is, feminism kinda destroyed any chance of reversing the wheel by ourselves, and there are men with more power than us who continue to let this thrive. So the best action for us is to just keep taking advantage of non moral women and showing men who do not get sex how to improve their lives to get women themselves. Eventually in some foreseeable future, we would have enough capable men to take back the reins of society and return us to the good days of connected families and non promiscuous men and women.

You have to realize that even in the world where families were strong, men like us would still exist to be ****ing the occasional bored wife behind her husband's back, or the widow who has no one to fill that void inside her. But we rather the majority of society was not like us for the good of everyone. Like it was said before, it's holding two different opinions that do not conflict with each other. There is nothing contradicting about it. We want women to be better because that in turn makes families better, which in turn produces better future men and women. Which means better relationship quality, even for us. Cause eventually Daddy's little girl becomes 18, and due to having a strong family, she will have far less mental issues, resulting in looking healthier, being prettier, and having less of an attitude.

I don’t think men care about that. I mean the girl can’t be a Hooker, but I don’t get the feeling men are preaching girls should be saints and virgins while men should sleep with everything in sight.

I think men care about: no kids, no divorces, and be fertile. Generally men will marry a girl who has been here and there than a girl who has had sex with one man yet has been divorced and has a child.

Indeed. I agree there has to be a balance. Maybe considering the notch count with other red flags like history of cheating?
Because excluding based on notch count alone seems to be very feasible.
