I saw that Argentina legalized abortion today, becoming the first county in Latin America to do so. I want to understand why some sections of the "manospere" get so worked up over it. I have been following Rollo Tomossi The Rational Male lately. He does not seem especially rational due to his regular indulgence in conspiracy theories about wildfires and covid. Today he was taking a victory lap because he "predicted" with a vague tweet from 2015 that Argentina was going to legalize abortion. Which got me confused about what this fixation on abortion is for people like Tomasi.

He points to abortion as the "ultimate expression of hypergamy". Nothing says you are a beta chump with bad genes that an abortion. To him abortion becoming legal is the "consolidating Gynocentric power". It's easy to laugh or cry at the purple haired tatted up train wrecks in the street celebrating the new law, but what is so damaging about women getting this right? It sound so conspiratorial like this is the first step in female domination of the world or something and I have not seen him or anyone else articulate from a non religious perspective what the big deal is.

The more rational explanation seems to that south america is one of the last strongholds of organized religion and it is slowly getting more secular. Along with a more secular society comes legalized abortion. If anything you would think PUA or even just guys who spin plates would be for this because **** can happen when you are seeing multiple girls and are not extra diligent about protection.

As an extremely right wing guy myself, I don't get the obsession either. If a woman doesn't think she's capable of raising a kid and is forced to have it, there's a very good chance that kid is gonna be extremely f'd up.

Abortion is a complex and complicated issue.

When you're having sex with women, birth control is a topic that should come up. I like to know if a woman I'm having sex with is on it or not on it. I use condoms so either answer isn't a dealbreaker.

None of my girlfriends or sex partners have expressed a desire to have a baby with me. I also haven't been all that enthusiastic about having kids. This is why I don't have kids.

I know some men that caused unplanned pregnancies and the woman chose not to have an abortion. That's child support and interacting with the woman for the rest of your life. That's unpleasant.

I don't know a situation where a guy I know wanted to have a kid, got a some pregnant, and she aborted.

In some countries abortion is a very controversial topic. In my country it has been legal for decades and I can't recall anyone being vocal about changing that here. Women are given a ton of information, are shown what other viable options they might have and what resources are available. It's a process, they can't just stumble into a clinic to have an abortion right then and there.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

It makes no sense to me. Men don’t carry children so why the fvck should we care?
so we don't have to pay anything for a woman who want to carry a child correct? that would mean no state or "dad" having to bill it, its all about the female doing it alone.
the problem with this is a little troublesome, abortion shouldn't even happen, we have several ways to prevent the fuc*ing preganacy so why the need for others to pay for it?

from what I understand, argentina is going to a sh!t hole so big abortion should be the least of they worry, but hey anything to keep the smoke screen going, but its not like the state can bill it anyway so

As much as I dislike the idea of a woman being given the power of life and death over a third party, I also recognize that women prone to abortion are usually leftist feminist women that would spawn further problems to the world if they were to give birth and grow someone.

Given the two alternatives, I pick the lesser evil so Im fine with them doing that.

what does payment have to do with it? The discussion is if the state should ban abortions

I agree. No child is conceived by accident. However, who pays has nothing to do with if it should be legal or not. What does a womans choice to get an abortion have to do with any of us men?

Nothing frees up hypergamy more than "If I bang the wrong guy and get pregnant I can just kill it."
How is that hard to understand?

That makes no sense. She has to have sex with you in order to abort your baby. So now if she fukks you raw dog it's not red pill enough? Lol.

I would think that cuckolding you and having you raise another man's spawn is the "ulitmate expression of hypergamy."

Keep in mind Rollo needs clicks to survive and thrive. Abortion is a wedge issue, Grade A clickbait. Say something provocative and then watch the online idiots have it out.

As far as men caring so much, it yet again boils down to frame and screening. If you're worried about it then work towards being the man any woman would WANT to have kids with...and screen for a woman who will. (If that's what you want.)
You make one huge mistake. Hypergamy is a reproduction instinct, not a sex one.

It is our child. Our reproduction. You literally are not redpill if you support abortion. That is what logic dictates. Supporting a woman being able to legally kill your offspring is the very definition of bluepill.

That is a strawman argument. No one “supports” abortion. I asked what does a woman’s choice to get one have to do with you? Frankly, I don’t believe babies should be born out of wedlock at all which makes the entire offspring point moot.

Outside of rape/incest, I don't know why abortion needs to exist when there are several forms of birth control out there and it is the responsibility of the woman on how she takes care of her body.

So by legalizing abortion, we are effectively telling them that they can be irresponsible and have a second backup just in case she doesn't practice or forget about birth control. Furthering the feminist attitude and their agenda on what suits them without taking on any responsibility or accountability.

The advent of birth control already let girls be slvts, now you have mandatory(in some states) HPV shots given to ALL students in school these days for the sake of female cervical cancer prevention, then you have legalized abortions to further promote promiscuous activities.

It spans further than the actual abortion IMO. It is setting up a precedent to pass other bills that allow women a free pass on things with little to no accountability or recourse. It will allow other laws to pass easily in the future for women's gain.

I'll be waiting for the no-stare law to pass in the future where males will be prohibited from staring down a girl as they would associate that with being visually raped. It sounds preposterous now but these are the things can come down the pipe if we as males do not change things.

Seems like you're more concerned with punishing women for their actions than the wellbeing of the children.

This is all correct. However, how does forcing her to carry that child that she doesn’t want or can’t raise properly out of wedlock benefit the child or society?

The rest of this is slippery slope fallacy. One possible direction in the future is not a sufficient argument for why abortion should be either legal or outlawed.

Not at all. How many children do you have?
I have 3 and know several married couples, ,single mothers/fathers. The wellbeing of children can vary greatly in any situation. That's what I've learned.

All I'm saying is women need to be responsible for their bodies and be held accountable for their actions. We have so many support mechanism these days that reward bad behavior and choices that women make through the government, churches, etc. Having these does nothing to change the mindset of women and does a disservice to help them make good judgement.

Birth control exists for that very reason. If you dont' want a child, make sure you're on top of birth control. Take some responsiblity. I mean, hell, a girl can get an IUD that will be a set it and forget it for 3-4 years. How much easier can it get?

I agree! But you didn’t answer the question - how does mandating that woman have the child when she is ill-equipped to raise it benefit the child and benefit society as a whole?
