You obviously haven't been seeing what is going on closeup. If you think being intubated in ICU on a ventilator and having heart and lung issues the rest of your life isn't a big deal cause you are still alive and didn't die from it, then yeah I guess it isn't.Even if I wasn't desperate, covid's dangerousness is wildly exaggerated if you ain't old or obese its ok
no offence sir but you really need to finally get out of your basement with @Julian and see whats going on...Even if I wasn't desperate, covid's dangerousness is wildly exaggerated if you ain't old or obese its ok
I've been seeing one plate and going to her place every 1-2 weeks. Only because I know her situation and her exposure to other people right now is very minimum. I'm talking to other new potentials but not meeting up.OK Who locked down some tail to shelter in place with? Seriously though wouldn't it make sense to upgrade a plate?
Dustmuffin checked in....Kudo's bro..
People seem to forget that even if they get out of the ICU, survive it, their lungs is already compromised - damaged. You obviously haven't been seeing what is going on closeup. But there are enough people who are young and healthy that have died from it that you should probably stop believing this false narrative.
Its related to the way your immune system responds not age. As you get older or have other issues your immune system doesn't work as well but there is no guarantee that it will work properly in this situation until you actually got it to find out. And that isn't a smart bet for anyone to take.
Old people's immune system is general deficient so I'd say yes it is correlated to age since aging diminishes you body's ability to defend itself. You obviously haven't been seeing what is going on closeup. Also "enough" young people who are young and healthy have died from it, I'd like to see some datas, maybe you get this impression from the medias that keep making a fuss of these few young that died.
We now know that a lot of C19 case aren't diagnosed since most young people will never show any symptoms, meaning that the 3% death rate is false, and we can see that the countries who take massive testing measures have very low death rates.
Take Israel who made drive by Covid testing, they tested a wide part of their population and have a death rate under 1% same goes for Germany and South Korea.
Neil Ferguson, the doctor whom conducted the study which stated that this will be an hardcore pandemic and that lead to massive quarantine measures changed his mind going from 500 000 deaths in UK to 20 000 and even said that people who died from Covid 19 would probably have died for another reason in the two following years.
GDP is gonna be down 30% according to previsions, USA registers 10m+ new unemployed people in the last two weeks, the FED and the ECB are buying all the companies and now UN claim that they should collect 10% of the worldwide GDP to balance the effects of this crisis.
It begins to look like a pseudo communist economy in my opinion.
So let me ask this, if less than 3% people, 80% of them over 60 die from this disease (and note that if they die from something else but are positive to coronavirus they account for a Covid death), does it mean that we must destroy the means of leaving of the rest of the population ?

If they didn't have the means to test people that where dying, then they couldn't test people who where infected and weren't showing symptoms, and there is way more asymptomatic people than people that went to the hospital and weren't tested properly.actually every country lacked tests and the death rates from corona virus are much higher than they report. by comparing total deaths of same month in italy in 2019 and 2020, the numbers are about 5x higher than what they report on sites related to coronavirus
in other words they lacked tests or tests didnt work or they didnt have time under pressure to classify patient death correctly. also many of them died just to be discovered days/weeks later.
This is true, only people who were tested prior are being counted in the death toll even tho they know for instance many people in various nursing homes died from it. Some have suggested using historical death totals for each month to get a better estimate of deaths from this.actually every country lacked tests and the death rates from corona virus are much higher than they report. by comparing total deaths of same month in italy in 2019 and 2020, the numbers are about 5x higher than what they report on sites related to coronavirus
