What If ArmenianDave Is Being Honest?

ArmenianDave clearly isn't leaving the forum for the foreseeable future. (Let's assume he is being honest and can't get a single date with an above average girl (6-8 caliber) through online dating.) What could we learn from his ramblings/situation?

That online dating doesn't work for most men?

That avoiding cold approaching destroys dating/sex opportunities?

That inflexibility destroys life opportunities?

That the "guru's" on this forum don't know what they're talking about?

That dating instructors are generally ineffective in helping average guys pick up hot chicks?

To turn it around, let's turn those negatives into positives:

1. avoid wasting time on online dating sites

2. develop skill in cold approaching women

3. be flexible, adapt to changing times and circumstances

4. trust your own experience (but be diligent about gaining life experiences)

5. dating instructors are slimeballs (see relevant thread in this subforum).

6. ArmenianDave is an emotional vampire so at least piece together some constructive advice from his misadventures

MY GOAL HERE IS TO FOCUS ON CONSTRUCTIVE ADVICE RATHER THAN ALLOWING DAVE THE EMOTIONAL VAMPIRE TO SUCK UP ALL OF THE ATTENTION OF THE FORUM.

It's just another tool, and it shouldn't be your only one. Sometimes you're hot, sometimes, you're not. One thing I'd suggest, is use the on/off setup with all OLD apps. You're one Bumble for 30 days, then you delete the profile, your account and the app from your device. Then switch to Match for 30 days, do the same. Reason being, for the first 30 days, new users are shown more than old users. So you get a push for those 30 days. Then switch to OKStupid, do the same. Then Tinder, if you like to roll the dice. After that, use the boost option for 10 bucks I think for the 30 days on each app. You'd be shown even more against the regular dudes.

Dave's picks are boring. He looks very vanilla and uninteresting. Use three - four pics. Head shot, body shot, pics with friends, pics doing something interesting. Short intro, maybe a sentence or two and nothing else. Swipe away or sit back.

Goes back to what was stated in yesterday’s thread.

In life, you will observe people and events that are very different than you and your own. Those who are effective in life don’t reject these people or events altogether, but rather extract the nuances that can work for them and reject that which does not fit.

Even Amante and I have extremely different styles, but nuances do exist that I can extract from his workings and the same can he from my own.

I reject no one altogether, not even Dave’s style. A gem can be extracted from all, even in lessons of what not to do/to be.

@bigdave17, I've tried to help. Very stubborn and you're just here for people to say oh poor me; instead of listening to some of us and trying what we suggest. What works for one, may or may not work for another. That is why you have to switch things up until you find your niche. Everyone has one.

As for the 7 times a day doing the knuckle shuffle. Use the tapping off method. Go down to 5 times a day for a week, then 4, then 3, and so on. As for the weight, need to hit the gym my friend.

Agree. It isn't just the fact that it's a big city, or that there are a lot of hot women around. Single women outnumber single men in NYC by a significant margin, and college educated women outnumber their counterparts by 38%. It's no wonder it's such a good singles market for men.

Also, everything I've seen indicates women in the area have a more open attitude to meeting new people and dating around than in, say, the midwest.

Yea, Hoboken is poppin, just far. We have some properties there, so when I check on my buildings, I always look around at the prospects. The NYC area they are always looking for men with a dollar and their sh!t together.

Yea, know about the sh!t tests from Westchester. Saw one Italian woman a few months again and we were making out in the back with my hand up her dress. It seemed like it was a good go for sex on the second date. I called her a few days later and she gave me a b!tchy stuck up attitude, so I just said, you seem to of had a bad day. This stuck up attitude is very common in Westchester, not sure why. Very strange. Got rid of more than a few who acted like garbage or a stick up their butt. Yet, they're all still on the dating apps. Gee, I wonder why.. Just part of the game I guess.
