What happened to our brothers in their 40s and beyond during these christmas holydays is an example of what not to do to stay mentally healthy.

Running in the traffic to buy presents to your spoiled wife and bratty kids, prepare and be prepared for family dinners with the precise obligation not to talk politics with her feminist sister or her socialist uncle that you do your best to avoid but MUST meet on xmas.

Cant even pretend you have to work or go to the gym cause its all closed...women are all on antidepressant so minor pressure yet its the average married men (especially betas settled with reformed slvts) to dance with a stroke in his everyday normal life.

And Im not sure lack of sex its a punishment if your wife is a middle aged overweight women.

Haha...no wonder why people here have issues...the bitterness, negativity and painting everything with one broad brush is just pretty amazing to me...

A man's masculine imperative is simply to access unlimited pvssy from unlimited opportunities.

If marriage gives him access then it's all good.

If being single gives him access then it's all good too.

Just don't be a pathetic Incel as a bachelor or as a married man.

Ofc marmel, what I said its all wrong, you should explain it to us...I mean myself and the overwhelming majority of men noticing the same and making marriage rates drop to all the time low year after year.

We are all wrong bro please save us, tell us how being a real alpha turns a sh1tty deal into the real deal from family gatherings to the courts o_O

Hey Im not saying I would do it again. But its no less ridiculous than taking 3 or 4 of the worst possibly situations you know of, piecing them all together and then claiming this is what every married couple is like.

Its just not true. But you can believe in your delusional fantasies created in your own mind for propaganda sake if you wish.

70% divorces initiated from women its clearly my fantasy as much as the overwhelming amount of divorces after a life of walking on eggshells for the average man.

You were married for what I recall right? are you still?

I won't say that all marriages can't work- although the majority of the people I know who got married didn't last as long as they initially thought it would...every situation was initiated by the woman wanting to leave. I always say I won't get married ever, but I'd never totally write it off for the sake of closed mindedness...maybe I meet a unicorn who checks every required box for me & isn't a total bore to be around.
I do get scared though when I see the married man in the grocery store getting chewed out by his wife for selecting the wrong cereal while the 3 kids are running around screaming- the guys eyes always look glazed over, like they're trapped in the sunken place like that movie "get out" lol

Many people marry because they'd rather be miserable than alone. They'd be unhappy with or without a relationship. So you have to compare your own odds to the right demographic.

Marriage is good or bad depending on your wife. She cooks, cleans takes care of the kids, gives you pvssy... then it is heaven.

Fact. Unfortunately most girls in our age category can't cook ramen noodles, use the kids as an Instagram photo prop, & gives you ***** under a stringent set of things you must accomplish before getting access to her haha

I'm the single guy in my neighborhood that all the married dudes come visit. Everyone of them tells me they live vicariously thru me when they see girls I date come and go.

These poor fools are tired and beat down by their wives. Their wives are fat and don't take care of themselves anymore. They've about given up on sex.

It's very rare to see a married couple that truly loves one another and still gets its on like they used to.

The live in girlfriend is the best deal going. The man retains most of his leverage that way and gets regular sex.

Sounds reasonable Howie.

Actually I'd prefer they stay over 2 or 3 times a week so that I've got my freedom.

The dead eye stare of someone who's given up hope is terrifying. I had that problem when married and am now more hopeful about life after separation. Still sucks losing your wife and in this case she is the one who filed for divorce. I'm hesitantly open to remarriage but for now I'm playing the field.

All of my girlfriends can't cook at 1st.

But they all decided to take cooking courses 2 impress me haha

They more things ur girlfriend can't do the more better, that leaves you a lot of room to train her up.

My neighbors look at me strangley sometimes when the see different women and different cars. Oh, well, sucks for them. My neighbor, who redid his exterior to now look like mine just bought himself a new Mustang Cobra. I joked with him... So, the mothership approved of this purchase? He didn't find that funny, but others did, with the women raising their eyebrows or having a smug look on their face.

Marriage used to be a right of passage for both people. Now, its security for the woman and a ball and chain for most men. Fact of the matter is that I've heard more than one woman in my office state after marriage, we're going to limit those bjs. It hurts my jaw or too much to swallow, etc. They mostly do it to get the license, security and kiddos. They know they got the man by the balls once that is taken care of.

Marriage, in general, is a losing proposition for the man. There is zero benefit. There is no guarantee of companionship. No guarantee of love, honesty or respect. No cleaning up the house (most women are messier than men; despite what Hollywood wants you to believe). No cooking (most think cooking in NYC is Uber eats or take out). No raising or rearing of the kiddos (that's what daycare is for).

So, I ask the forum, what is the point of marriage then for the man? Even if he had less resources than the woman, he'll really be up sh!ts creek if and when she decides to divorce. I know a few men that have two to three jobs just to pay alimony and child support. The attys really made a mockery of a once strong institution.

Live in gf can be considered common law in Canada and some US States. Certainly a palimony suit can be brought if she thinks you have the dough. It's one of the reasons why I play down my assets and never disclose my earnings. Even though my divorce, I redacted all income docs I submitted to her lawyer. I also lowered my income two years prior to marriage to ensure no possible alimony. Just to make sure all was legit, ran it through the attorney and CPA to make sure all was 100. Also transferred my assets into a trust two years prior to my marriage and suspended retirement contributions as well.

Fvck if I'm going to allow any one to take what I built from scratch from me. Timing is everything. If a woman lives with you, in NYC, and you have $$$, she can attempt to bring a palimony suit against you. Be careful brother.
