The man is pure ****ing genius.
He disputes the whole manosphere and pickup likely due to the creepy nature it tends to hold. Not to mention, the sort of socially inept, weirdos, low testosterone, needy, beta, incel, etc it tends to attract and inhabit.
Peterson goes onto recognise the genius at work. It corresponds with his line of work in psychology by exposure to the stuff that precipitates fear. Mention of fifty approaches and by 49, the level to which one has of fear subsided to a large degree.
After a decade +/- of cold approach pickup, on a good night, I am running through the building, flame thrower, and guns blazing. Gift for gab. Million dollar mouth piece. Spitting fire. Pulling. E bragging thereafter. On a off night, it's going through the motions. You can but it feels forced. As in, you aren't into it (for whatever reason) and your outcome is as you would expect, less than spectacular. Another day at the office and you chalk it up to another victory by appearance alone.
There is of course the counter balance of pickup and mirror exposure to getting baeees. That being, seeing female nature as it is, not how you wish it were, and your real world view needing adjustment along with self. Peterson points out that, if the vast majority hold a specific position and opinion of a man, there's likely work to be done. I concur. I would add more to the notion that, there is a better chance of increasing the probability of success by putting in the work. 99.9999999999% won't or they'll half step. They will run to the finish line, to the touch line but not score the TD. To each their own.
There's a reason for why RSDTyler and James Marshall push meditation. Sure, it's an up sell but, this sort of stuff and ego exposure to female nature is not without consequences. I mean, a week of pickup is more then most guys will do in ten lives. Association of one's self-concept simply on a woman's acceptance or lack thereof is not going to end well.
The most incredible thing about pulling is the cyclical nature of the male female dynamics and synergy of it all. It is like, yes, I pulled her but, she pulled me too with her femininity and submissiveness. The emphasis Peterson makes on mother nature taking its toll on man. The sleeping beauty tale describes that of the unconsciousness of femininity if left in a echo chamber of stupidity (SJWs, feminism, single mom's, etc) is lost. The same can be said of man, red pill rage or mgtow, and the unconscious.
In the words of Jon Locke, "suffering is nature's way of strengthening."
