A bit of a peculiar situation. This lady I am seeing seems to want me to pick her up a lot. Whether we go to an activity or even if she sleeps over, she rather have me pick her up. We live about 10 minutes away, but still, she has a car, I do not understand what the big deal is. She wanted to sleep over on Thursday, and I said cool. She was going to drive over and then said she's too tired to drive. I tried to get Lyft, but it wasn't working on my phone, but worked on hers; she booked it and then she cancelled it showing that it works. She then said she likes to be picked up and driven places, as that's what she's used to. Since I knew it was sex and I was kinda horny, I went to pick her up; which she seemed very pleased.

Is it me who thinks that this is a bit peculiar or is it normal when you see a lady once or twice a week and you live close to go and pick her up?

So why not ask about it? Doesn't matter what we think, if something is bothering you then you need to confront her about it and ask her what's up? Tell her you want her to pick you up sometime or tell her you can't pick her up the next time she wants to come over and she will have to drive to you.

I picked up all my dates at a younger age. It’s no big deal. Gives you control of the situation as long as you don’t become her chauffeur. Some women don’t like to drive, some choose to be independent and do…
Both are acceptable and she probably trusts in your driving skills.

Yea, that's never happened nor will. She got away with it a few days ago because she was sleeping over. However, I do not want picking her up to go to activity dates to become the norm. I was about to say see ya on earlier in the week, but since she wanted to sleep over, I refrained from jumping the gun. She was nearly all over me when I picked her up. It seems unreal. She's a conservative Republican. I've dated these types before, sex is usually better, but they seem to want everything done for them. I live in a heavily liberal Democratic area, and they are SJW's and are more in to meeting half way on picking up and paying for things. Perhaps that is why it seems so foreign to me.

She actually has to get on the Black Rock turnpike for two short exits and then my townhouse is right there. Around 7 miles, about 10 - 12 minutes.
