I came across an interesting blog, which explains reasons most women reject guys if they feel they are too attractive for them. I think it's a must read for everyone, who wants to understands some misleading behaviour from women.

The blog focuses on the topic of being a good-looking guy in an environment of mostly average women.
You might think that most of those women will choose the best looking guy over the average guy... But thats not the case according to the blog and my own experience. Essentially women feel the need to look better then her partner otherwise their relationship is influenced by too much negative emotions on her side.

I had two offers for professional modeling and a lot of people have told me that I am quite handsome. So without sounding arrogant I am probably not average looking.
Anyway I run into most issues mentioned in the blog, which makes me believe that if you are, let's say > 8 on males looks scale, you'll have some problems with females, which are not self-explanatory.

that's why any male who is a 8-10/10 can dominate on online dating, meanwhile even 6-7/10 guys are treated as nonexistent. If you're a 5 for OLD, you may as well not even try

I observe people quite a bit just the way I'm, I've really noticed a trend in couples the woman is good looking and the guy she's with is a few notches down in the looks department. I've always had troubles with women being scared of me I didn't know why until one of my female friends said to me you're a good looking guy women are intimidated of you. I've always considered myself average looking guy, I look much younger than I truly I'm, now that I live a healthier and happier life style it really turns back the aging.

With the rampant insecurity I'm seeing in women today I'm not surprised women are going after guys that are lower in the looks department, I've also noticed these guys are not "manly men" they are feminized men not full blown metrosexual but you can tell these guys lack masculinity.

Yes that's my observation as well. It's all about having the upper hand in the relationship, in her mind, the one who is better looking.

That's absolutely true. If you are more attractive women will neg hit even insult you (even females you don't know) just for the reason that you are physically more attractive then her.

I follow what you are saying but really feel like you need to find the mindset that NOBODY can destroy your ego, self worth beliefs, or self value perceptions.

Nobody should ever be able to dictate how you ultimately feel about yourself. Don't let anyone take control of your mind like that.

100%. But I wouldn't say they destroy your ego tough, they might try to put you down in a rude manner.
It's really ridiculous how far most women will go to put down a handsome dude. You can be sure that those women find you extremely attractive, but know that you probably will not stay with them (insecure, average looks - in most cases - , possessive, jealous etc.).
For me I only approach attractive women, who are under 25, with the intention to get to know them, everything else is a waste of time.

I agree 100%. I've been in LTR with girls who I considered up to par with me in looks. And it seemed like it was always a competition. I just recently realized that I get along way better with girls who aren't exactly hot but also not exactly unattractive.

Typical chick thinking. Yea, they do not look to get in 'relationships' with men they do not think they can control (because he is too good looking)... but once they have them, the chicks will torture to pure bastard because he doesn't make her 'tingle'... then she will go off and fvck the hot dudes on the side. They THINK they want the guy that's not the best, but EMOTIONALLY it's not what they want. Many will will get into relationships with men they think are beneath them in looks, then nag the crap out of him to improve himself to her satisfaction, unless he has other things going for him like money and status.

The problem with the guy that posted on the blog, complaining that he is too good looking is going after the wrong chicks, and he is focused too much on getting into a relationship.... the fact that he is LOOKING for a relationship is his problem, he is spooking off chicks before they love him because he is putting out a needy vibe, which chicks can smell out like a dead pig. As soon as you are too nice, red flags go up. It's just like when you go in to buy a car and the salesman is too nice, you immediately think "What's he hiding?" This gets in the way of the emotional decision process.

If this guy is as good looking as he claims he just needs to focus on dating... hooking up and let all the concerns about relationships drop off the side. If he is not having success with the women he is approaching now and he keeps doing the same things he's crazy. If you are fishing and not catching fish, you are stupid or crazy if you don't move your boat to a better spot.

I don't think that this is a silly post at all. Did you every consider that your observation could be related to that phenomenon ? Maybe those women are choosing the "funny looking guys" deliberately.

Women don't go in like "well this guy is an 8, he's way out of my league so I'll reject him" lol. Do you really think women are largely sleeping with guys who don't turn them on? Even if the man is better looking than the woman, she will still get preferential treatment...that's how it works. You see mismatched couples all the time where the woman is a ****ing whale and the guy is skinny and decent looking.

None the less, if that's what someone wants to believe, then have it. Just explain why the "chad" on tinder, the guy with a chiseled face and washboard abs slays *****. Shouldn't women be clamoring after the nerdy looking gamer with a patchy beard and gut?

I think some of you guys forget women are approached and hit on constantly, esp if she is good looking. A woman can at any time probably rattle off a bunch of horn dogs that are actively trying to get with her....and guess what? A good amount of them will likely be handsome. It's all about the total package of which looks are a small part.

You actually believe this? In what part of the world is a man valued for his looks more than a woman? A guy can be good looking and a total loser and women won't want a thing to do with him. A good looking woman that is troubled with a ****ty personality? Men make concessions for them and bail them out all the time because they are stupid. Women aren't intimidated because their guy is handsome....growing up she probably has always had her pick of handsome guys and still does at any moments notice. I want you to consider this community - there very well could be guys here that are "7's" as you guys say that suck with women and never had a girlfriend in their lives....do you guys really think the opposite is true, that a female who is a "7" is going without?
