Last summer, a really hot girl moved in a building next to mine. The window in my kitchen faces her balcony. She had a boyfriend back then; I used to see her when she was standing on her balcony smoking cigarettes while I was doing something in the kitchen. She would very often look at me but I never thought much of it because of the boyfriend situation. Since winters are frigid where I live, I really never saw her during that time smoking outside. This summer, it looks like she broke up with the guy since I have not seen him yet (I am just making an assumption).
I have been trying to just wave at her in the most natural way. The problem is that it's only when my back is turned or when my head is down while washing dishes that she looks at me. If I turn around or lift my head to look at her, she quickly looks away. I try to keep looking in her direction but she never looks at me or she does when I am not looking in her direction.
I have tried waving really quickly when I turn around but she is too fast. I am still learning my way around women so I am not sure this whole scenario shows any interest at all. Is there a clever way to get her attention?
