thanks to the Central Bankers with their insane printing policy, we have to diversify our currencies. I wouldn't bet the farm on it, but I will put in enough for it to be a little painful if I get burnt. No risk, no reward. Came to the part late. Averaging in now. Wondering where I'll bail... most probably when every man and his dog is piling in. Check out the trend, which looks like a parabolic rise:

You are spreadbetting with bitcoin or buying physical?

Just buying online.
If you mean you are using trading view to buy bitcoin make sure the broker you are using through them has guaranteed stop loss because if there is a crash on this your stop loss will not get respected and in a leveraged position this could leave you in debt. just a heads up

parafukkingbolic!!!:D

I already bet the farm...but, I'm in the know.

Those who don't know, shouldn't bet the farm.

Charts don't lie, people do.

No leverage... I buy a bit on goldmoney.com. I'm not a day trader. I'll just buy for the medium long term trend.

Just bought another $10,000.

Maybe it will be $50,000 by next December.

Maybe it's a bubble. Don't know. But it's nothing I can't afford to lose.
Lol you’re crazy, it’s at it’s all time high right now from what I see. Bound to correct in the next few days and you coulda gotten more for that 10k

Maybe. But I'm thinking more long-term.

I'll sell it all probably November - December 2018.

Btw, this is a ROI that is basically unbelievable and unprecedented. Since 10/31 when I first bought, it's gone up 1433%.

A good ROI in the normal world is like 12%.

It is in a parabolic spike. Those waiting for the dip to 8K from 10K have missed out. Those waiting for the dip to 12000 from 15000 have missed out etc etc...

When I was piling in at 10k [based on the strength of the log chart below] it was not an easy buy. It never is in a bull market... but then the trend 'rescues' you even if it dips a little. I would say this still applies now. If you don't own any, you should just bite the bullet and buy a bit.

The betabucks of the future may just be the dollars you are currently holding.

You could wait for a dip, but it would be risky. If you have the ability to buy some here, why wouldn't you?

Bitcoin are beta... because the masses are jumping at it without checking the fact... they can't control their emotions.

Alpha buy legit stuff with a solid base and use fact, they don't have their frame pushed by the temptation of the ''little return at expensive cost''... They take at the lowest cost for the max returns ;) or translated as... they take the most out of the girl at the lowest emotional investment possible

There are different classes of buyers. The 'mass' is made up of the FOMO [fear of missing out] and FUD [fear, uncertainty and doubt] crowd. This is why the price spikes and then corrects . The 'alpha' buyer looks at the long term trend AND has an imaginative capacity to embrace something new.

I shall leave you to contemplate the significance of this chart. :)
