Will bitcoin eventually be accepted on dates with women? If so is bitcoin destined to be the beta bucks of the near future?

No reason why not, assuming betas aren't too busy chasing chicks to learn how bitcoin works....

Yeah, we'll have to give them a little while.

Maybe they'll notice when bitcoin reaches 17 trillion market cap.

I put $850 into it. Would have put more but eh. It’s still going up too. I reckon that by New Years is when the bubble will crash and it’ll be worthless. Then Ethereum and Litecoin will follow afterwards, though they won’t drop as much. After a few weeks, those two will probably start going up again.

The thing is though, online shopping and thus online currency will be more and more common. This means that bitcoin and all the other digital currencies will go up as well, especially because they’re untraceable through means of buying and selling. The dark web is only going to expand too, making it even more prominent. If it does not crash a little bit after New Years, then it’ll probably continue increasing until 2020 before dropping off again. And if civil unrest in western countries continues to increase, then that likely means that bitcoin will also be going up too. There was a 14 year old kid who became a millionaire from bitcoin actually. You can find his story somewhere on Reddit.

I have a bitcoin visa card (shift card) that I use anywhere. Get setup with coinbase and it will draw from your account there.

Anyone who would like to survive the collapse of the United States dollar.
Yeah that will never happen because it would cause the world economy to collapse. Too many things are based off the US Dollar for better or for worse. Its extremely naive thinking that you would even believe that.

It would be bailed out by the rest of the world similar to how banks were bailed out by the US government.

Because one person says it...it must be true. Next thing you'll tell me is that everyone will be speaking Hindi now instead of English at conferences...

You know why it wont happen? Because we would simply start another fake war over it and Stomp someone into the ground. That's kind of how we do things here. And when you have 20+ state of the art aircraft carriers and the rest of the world has 5 or 6 combined, most of them 30+ years old there isnt a damn thing they could really do about it, regardless of whatever rhetoric they want to spew. Economic reasons throughout the course of history are typically the number one reason for wars to start with(along with religion)

Because no matter what they say publicly the rest of the world is scared to death of us behind closed doors. We treat them like our kids. We play nice most of the time but sometimes you have teach one of them a lesson and bend them over your knee and spank them.

Places like China are gonna use it as well as their technology advances. Plus, they’re communist so they’re much more likely to use it since they’re more limited to their assigned resources than we are.

Also, the US is still afraid of China. They’re the only nation that we are afraid of since they have so many damn people. Well, them and Turkey of course.

#1) We spend more in military expenditures than the rest of the world COMBINED. This year $611 BILLION with China in 2nd at $215 Billion and Russia in 3rd at $69 Billion. We've been outspending other countries like this for DECADES now, and its probably shrunk some---we probably used to outspend the next closest country by 10 times instead of 3. We have military technology that is being worked on that is so far advanced compared to other countries that has never been unveiled, it would boggle your mind.

Do you realize that probalby half if not more of the technilogical advancements that have been seen around the world over the last 50 years have their basis from the US military? Hell, even what we are conversing on right now, the internet, was created by the US Military and DARPA...Microwaves came from US military technology...nuclear technology...lasers...radar...jets...GPS...Penicillin and many antibiotics...synthetic fabrics and nylon...canned food...wristwatches...drones...and many more...

Literally we ARE the technology that the rest of the world has piggybacked off of for the last 50+ years...now we are almost ready to unveil laser weapons that can shoot down people from the middle of nowhere with deadly accuracy.
http://bigthink.com/philip-perry/th...-widespread-use-of-laser-weapons-by-the-2020s

#2) Aircraft Carriers are what determine the balance of power. We can simply surround a country from all sides and bomb it into oblivion. And there really isn't a damn thing they can do about it.
http://www.lexingtoninstitute.org/aircraft-carriers-unique-value-americas-famous-combat-system/

We aren't afraid of China, they have a lot of people but they would have no prayer in a war against us where we bring out all of our technological advancements and they know it. They talk tough but would never think about starting a war with us. Not to mention they would have to invade us and would not only have to defeat our army/navy/air force which is virtually impossible, they would have to also defeat the most well-armed civilians in the world as well who would be shooting at them from every possible location they could go to.

About 1/3 of the country owns weapons, meaning about 100 million people. And those 100 million people own over 350 million weapons. Meaning if we were attacked, they have enough to pass out to a few friends who don't own weapons to help... does that sound like an ideal place you'd like to try and invade? In 2007, the US led the world by owning 101 guns for every 100 people, a number that has only gone up dramatically since then. Where was China you ask? 99th at 4.9 guns for every 100 people...meaning the majority of their population are very poorly trained miltiarily.

Instead of these other countries talking sh!t about us they should be kissing our asses because they would be in the technological stoneage in comparison if we didn't exist. Not to mention how we saved Europe from speaking German and how we give all these countries millions of dollars in aid every year.

Only for limited useage. It was Tim Berners-Lee who made it practical. WE don’t use what the government uses; theirs are completely separate. We use www as you can clearly see before the ‘sosuave.net’ above.
Microwaves came from US military technology...nuclear technology...lasers
This was not from the military though. The military took the microwave oven and just turned it into a weapon. They took Einstein’s idea of healing people using nuclear power and turned that into a weapon as well. Lasers? “Hey Jim, lasers move in a single straight line rather than spread out like most light and that’s because it’s a single color” “well as a military officer I need to be able to weaponoze that”. We took normal things and weaponized them.
Radar was only used by the British during WWII. No one gave a fvck about it until afterwards when people realized that the Luftwaffe were basically wasting their time because radar saved civilians from dying. It only became used after that, and it was invented by the Germans (later perfected by the British).
This time it’s reversed where Britain invented it and Germany perfected it.
Penicillin and many antibiotics
Which anyone who knows anything about biology will tell you that this has given rise to bacteria who are now immune to most drugs. In about 20 years, all antibiotics will be worthless. And everyone and their mothers knows that penicillin was discovered on accident. The government did not create it or search for it.
synthetic fabrics and nylon...canned food...wristwatches...drones
All of these were ideas that were just expanded on. There were no real ‘inventors’ of any of these, and if you trace them back far enough, it was before the US was even the 13 colonies.

This is ignorant at best. Do you want to know why the north was able to beat the south during the civil war? Sheer manpower. We had more men. That’s it. They had better soldiers, better generals, all their civilians were armed more so than anyone in the north was. But we just had a much larger population. That was the biggest reason why we won. Population matters. You can’t destroy a nation that won’t die.

Nations LIKE China, Russia, and (by ~2025) Turkey will be able to. What good are aircraft carriers without any aircraft? Besides, even that doesn’t mean **** anyway. After we invaded Afghanistan, this nation began going down. The USSR tried fighting them to take them over and broke apart because of it. This was before they knew of any natural resources that they had. Alexander the Great, who had the greatest military the world had ever seen at that point in time had trouble conquering it, and when he did, it was only half of it and he STILL had issues controlling it. They were the first to secede from his control too, he only had them for a few years lol. They’re called the graveyard of empires for a reason. No one has fully conquered them in around 4,000 years if I recall correctly. We’re still at war with them today, aircraft carriers be damned. We and the Soviet Union bombed the hell out of them before we discovered they were sitting on mountains of money. And let’s not forget Vietnam.
Not to mention how we saved Europe from speaking German and how we give all these countries millions of dollars in aid every year.
That **** goes right back to us anyway, and we didn’t even save them from anything. We only came in after it was clear that Germany had messed up and depleted their resources and military power by attacking Russia in the winter because Leningrad had a ton of oil reserves for their war machines. Had they been patient and waited a bit longer (along other things), the US would have been blown away like a feather. The only thing that’s truly scary are nuclear warheads. Russia still has more of them than we do anyway, and there’s still remnants on the surrounding countries. You can buy a warhead from a Bulgarian black market dealers for a pretty cheap price. They dig them up from their backyards and send them to you. VICE had a documentary on that.

Maybe You should read this because most of what you said isnt correct. Typically the military has been using and testing technology for 20-30 years before the mainstream public gets it and in most cases they have no clue it even exists until it comes out.

https://www.digitaltrends.com/cool-...h-made-possible-wartime-research-development/

This isnt the civil war times 200 years ago. There were many more people killed in a single battle numerous times than we have killed in multiple wars now combined.

Nuclear weapons pose an interesting dilemma. Russia and China can both send ICBMs and destroy us and there is little we could do. However, we can and would do the same to them a few seconds later, so what is the value of that?

Russia's nukes are made to hit a building and then not only blow up the bullding but destroy the entire city on top of it. Our nukes are bullt to fly into a window of the building and only blow up the building. It's a different ideology. We favor deadly accuracy, they favor simply mass destruction.

We dominate in the air, we dominate in the water, we dominate on land, our overall technology dominates in virtually all phases that you would look at. Good luck to China is all I can say. They'd have to figure out a way to get all those people here which would probably be the biggest challenge. They would be sitting ducks in the middle of the ocean since the only real logistical way to transport those large amounts of people would be via ships. Ships that are old and technologically obsolete for the most part.

Most newly discovered technology isn’t used by the general public at all until someone rich enough (i.e the government) is able to test stuff out and fix a few things. We created the telephone 20 years before anyone started using it, even the government still used Morse code and telegrams to send messages after the invention of the phone. Like I said, we just weaponized everything. Consider LSD for example; it was developed originally for psychiatric purposes to potentially help people. The CIA said “hmm, let’s go ahead and use this to see if we can directly control people’s mind using it”, hence MKUltra, MKNaiomi, and MKDelta. It’s prominence in the 60s and 70s? Yeah that was them seeing if it could work over mass populations. We just weaponized this stuff. That’s it.

This is so wrong on so many levels. Nukes, aka thermonuclear warheads are designed for the sole purpose of mass destruction. You don’t blow up a single building with a nuke. You use regular explosives. Nukes are so damn expensive and dangerous. Even after you destroy said building, now you’ve got to worry about the fallout that will affect the whole area and possibly mutate everyone within it. The sole purpose of nukes are just for absolute obliteration. You destroy as much of an area as you can for as long as you can. The ‘deadly accuracy’ thing only comes into play with what location dropping the warhead would cause the most destruction. That’s it. We are better at that stuff than Russia is, but that doesn’t mean that we use nuclear bombs to blow up a single house. That’s absolutely ridiculous.

Again, this is just us weaponized everything. Take weather forecasts for example. Scientists wonder how they can better detect the weather before they happen and if they could possibly detect natural disasters as well. Well what the military said instead was “Hey! Why don’t we use this technology to be able to CAUSE natural disasters instead? That’s an amazing weapon to have!” And now we have HAARP. It’s just he weaponization if everything that was once meant for good or for practical use. They didn’t actually invent a whole lot though.

thanks to the Central Bankers with their insane printing policy, we have to diversify our currencies. I wouldn't bet the farm on it, but I will put in enough for it to be a little painful if I get burnt. No risk, no reward. Came to the part late. Averaging in now. Wondering where I'll bail... most probably when every man and his dog is piling in. Check out the trend, which looks like a parabolic rise:
