Consider two scenarios:

1) (Most common) - You get a new girl and she is the best. You are so satisfied you relax a little. You enjoy time at home watching movies. You get fat. She leaves you. You are fat and single.

2) (Uncommon) - You get a new girl but realize that in order to keep her longer term you must seek self improvement. You reduce your body fat by 50%. Before she notices, she leaves you and shows her true colors. You are now much better than the man who seduced her. You seduce hotter women. You get three phone numbers in one room in one night and leave her forever.

Which will you choose?

Tonight was the first time in a long time that I owned every room.

1) My date from Wednesday begged me to reply. I replied.
2) As I was walking into my favorite club she texted me "I'm at work, please save me".
3) She has the same energy as the girl who broke my heart last week. I could feel myself healing in real time, despite her tattoos (20 year old women are like the Sun).
4) She agreed to a second photo shoot next week.
5) On my way out, I ran into the girl with the same name as my now ex, the same girl I avoided 3 days ago when I met New Girl A. She agreed to a photo shoot next week.
(Total strip club cost after 2 dates and 3 drinks (one Fiji for her) was $100 including tipping the police)

6) At my regular bar (a lonely place where I hardly ever get even a kiss) one guy said "My wife is in love with you." and she came over and said "I will do anything you want". It was too weird and I could see he was hurting so I didn't make a move.
7) My best friend's girl came over and said "You can have your way with me if you promise not to tell him". I would have told my best friend, and said no.
8) A super hot girl (age 25) sitting at the bar with a date, had her date storm off. I went over and got her number.
9) Another girl across the bar waved so I went to sit with her. I realized I already had her number. She took my photo and said "I like a man". She is sort of crazy, not just about me. I ran.
10) The waitress (who rated 98) was suddenly letting her hair down and calling me by name.

Keep working out.

Ask me how much I miss my BPD ex (unlike hers, those are real - I mean her boobs, not her soul and conscience).

I think god is angry at me..

When I broke up with my ex, 5 months ago.. I was already in good shape.. was hitting the gym regular for years now.

But 2 months ago, i gave myself anothe rotator cuff shoulder injury.. so I cannot lift till fully healed... could take months..

When i was lifting i felt awesome.. I would walk out of the gym, and girls would stare at me..

I,m still in good shape, maybe putting on a few pounds from the lack of training...

But i see this as a temporary problem, when i recover training will definitely resume..

Also i have applied for lots of new jobs, that pay better.. have started going to after work events, to increase my social circle..

Re decorating my property, so looks awesome.. and hopefully a new Lexus vehicle very soon..

Just keep improving guys

It's normal. Lots of strange things happen as you are gaining muscle and losing fat. I found I looked skinnier at first, then bigger. But as you watch the body fat it goes down.

I didn't realize you've had the shoulder injury before. That's the problem I keep running into, it tends to recur. Apparently yours does too. I think I'm cutting out over the head exercises altogether. Which is a shame because I really like doing the military presses and tricep extensions. That's one of my few complaints about getting older, your body doesn't always meet your demands anymore.

Its the bench press that gets me.. i rarely ever do shoulder press, or over head.. my shoulder can't take it..

Yes have had rotator cuff in both shoulders now... not happy man..

I'm doing everything to improve it.. 3 weeks rest, then shoulder rehab workouts

When I hit 45 I starting getting shoulder injuries all the time. Took up yoga thinking I needed more flexibility, it didn't help so I had to quit lifting. Now I just practice yoga, pull-ups, Chin-ups, Push-ups, and bike. Not saying you need to do this, but entropy hits us all.

Being the best you can be increases the number of chicks that are attracted to you. Continuing to work on yourself, even when you are in a relationship with a chick keeps her on her toes... she will always want what other chicks want. When you are the best you can be, she will know that you have other options which makes you more attractive.

I've heard the bench press is bad for your shoulders (doesn't seem like it should be). That's another exercise I like to do. I've also heard flys are bad for your shoulder (I don't really enjoy those anyway). It's really very irritating when you're used to lifting to have to lay off. I may have to eventually accept what Ranger Mike said, I hope not. Oh well, I'm getting pretty up there in years anyway. Still, it's discouraging.

I didn't know you've had it in both shoulders, that makes me feel a little better, so far it's only been in my left.

OP you are right...I used to weigh 350 lbs I am 6 foot 3.I was morbidly obese, even when I was fat I could still get young women 20-25 years old very easy by spanking them and playing the daddy card but I couldn't keep them a long time because I was also lazy.I have lost 125 pounds and counting by walking/running 4 -6 miles a day and a low carb diet. Now I keep them a while because I am not lazy anymore as a matter of fact when I run I can actually think better,I think it's because of blood flowing to the brain I don't know...but now I make all my decisions while exercising,on days I don't exercise I feel like sh!t and everything slips.

Seriously the thought of quitting lifting, pretty much scares.. the gym has got me through some seriously tough times..

When i get back into lifting, i intend to keep my lifts pretty light.. I'm already quite big for my height, so lifting big will not help in anyway..

Keep light, more reps, concentrated curls and presses.. good form/technique.. and off course good diet

Somehow having a girlfriend gets us out of the game, and they lose interest because they see us as the supplicating male instead of the high status male they stole away from the crowd of admirers.

Lifting weight was never my forte, I tried it, but I find it makes me stiff. I have been doing Weight Balls, Kettlebells and cardio, oh and those ropes....those are my favorite the rope exercises!

I am immune from this scenario, because I don't own a television. I have one couch, which mostly belongs to my German Shepherd. We sit outside, grill food and drink, watch the stars, and then fvck. I am gaining a little weight because she cooks so much, but she is losing weight. She likes to cook more than eat. II think she is obsessively dieting in order to look good for me.

My experiences:

Scenario#1
I did scenario one in a nine-year LTR. Never got fat, though, I certainly got lazy and lost direction in my career during those years. Smh. Funny thing, she purposely told me she didn't "like" muscle on a guy to keep me scrawny w/o definition and scare away the competition. Reading into her dating history before me, the guy that was high up on her HST was more alpha, ripped, and knew how to destroy her in the bedroom. Also, he never gave her exclusivity, she always demanded it and he would soft-ghost and then come in/out of her life for several months before she walked away for good.

Scenario#2
Working on scenario two the last year and a half. Progress is going better. Plate HB scale is all over the place and hasn't been as consistent as I would like to admit tbh. Improving that will just take time and more approaches/closes.

Moral of the story is to never stop improving as a Don Juan.

Life gets better when you work on yourself. Pulling women isn't the end goal-state. Working towards a satisfying life that is enjoyable that pulls women in, is an enjoyable side benefit.
