Why do women start backtracking when they see you are serious?

The thing with this kind of advice is that it's well suited to a certain lifestyle. There's certainly a percentage of guys here who would love a harem of hot women. You're going to need pretty good smv and since smv is relative women are always comparing if you want that you're going to need to be in the top 10% of guys here. So for 90% of guys here it's a mirage you'll never get there.

So for the young guys the harem will consist of a couple of Sevens and occasionally an 8.

And for LTR crowd like me who can't be bothered with the overhead it's a solid 7 with a good personality and reasonable behaviour.

And I'm curious how this advice would pan out for the ltr. We have very experienced guys here like desdinova and Espi who say they won't accept orbiters because orbiters by definition always want to f*** the girl and it's putting a lot of Constant temptation in her way.

What the heck does this have to do with backtracking?

I see what you are saying. But Neil, your case is different because it is pretty much an open relationship from what I can tell. However, that last part is a really strong point nonetheless. Thanks.
Wait, you say your relationship isn't open, but she is backtracking when you are serious, meaning she prefers it be open, meaning she fears losing her freedom.

Meanwhile my relationship is non committed, but I have my girl telling me she loves me the most.

See how it works? Leave it open, date other women and they love you more for multiple reasons. It's win/win. Unless you are convinced her options are better than yours so a commitment is a better deal for you.

You misinterpret. I'm not talking about one specific woman, but women as a whole. Throughout all facets of life, not just in intimate relationships.

It's simply the egg laid on the pointy top of a roof rolling left instead of right.

Imagine being a beautiful woman. You have hundreds of men who want to sleep with you. You only have time for a few. Are you going to pick one guy and just do whatever that guy wants? Text right back? Go out every night? Pay half? Of course not! Every guy will do that!

Losing sucks. You're just asking "Why does losing suck?"

Men who can have any woman don't want commitments. Women want men who can have any woman.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Not universal, but pretty common in the US I think. It's not that bad in Norway, but it's not uncommon.
We have our own problems in Norway lol, most feminine country on earth. Glad Im leaving in a couple of years

Well, I like it here. People are nice, I don't consider that a bad thing.
People are shy and afraid, not sure about the nice part. Just a good system running, decent level of education, so people will tell you what you want to hear to your face, doesnt mean they like you. Only way to find out is to go your own way for a day, if people come up to you at school or work just to talk to you or ask you for your advise, then you are respected and liked within that group. Same with girls, no girls initiate contact, they dont care, you have no value to them.

Sad thing about our country is that fear or being rejected by a social group is insanely strong so most people just stick to their own the rest of their lives, one could argue its like that all over the world but I feel this small country is known for it. Striving for the highest status among a tribe is nothing new and makes sense, its just sad for some of us who are adventurers and want to see more of the world, experience new cities and countries, tribe culture is useless for us.

I know for me I want to live in a country that has a culture of people being more outgoing, Norway doesnt even have a dating culture, and its one of the most modern countries in the world (no joke) its socially retarded. Not looking for excuses for my own struggles by any means, just an observation. Im hustling hard with what I have and where I live atm

@Milano Can't entirely relate to your view. I voice my honest opinion all the time, in front of friends, at work, to my boss and anywhere else in public. Haven't had much of a negative impact except the 5% of people who just can't take it. People constantly talk to me and ask for advice, so often I wish I could be left a little more alone.

Many girls have initiated contact with me, the way to do this in Norway is not to look like an intimidating alpha gorilla. It's the art of seeming as harmless and approachable as possible, remove any excuse for them to fear you in any way.

I do agree that there's a larger barrier for people to open up, but for someone like me who doesn't have such a barrier it's pretty easy. Just go up and talk to people, eventually they warm up.
