Marriage.
How do Conservatives have a monopoly on marriages? The biggest supporters for marriage the past few decades have been gays and lesbians which are a liberal group. Guess who the biggest opponents to marriage have been? Yes, Conservative Republicans via Reagan with his no-fault divorce law, conservatives banning interracial marriages in the south and private schools, and the today's topic of gay marriage which has finally been legalized and won by Democrats.

If people think that you need to be rich in order to get laid, and you are getting laid without being rich, then what people think isn't relevant.
Not rich, but you need to have your financial house in order.

I would really love to know what you "Pick Up Artists" who keep shouting money doesn't matter, are doing with the women you pickup? Where are you taking her back to, in an attempt to fvck her, eat her, kiss her, lick her, whatever?

- Are you taking her BACK to your homie's crib?
- Are you taking her BACK to your mother's basement?
- Are you taking her BACK to the homeless shelter that you stay at?

When it's time to go pick up a chick to go out, how are you achieving this?

- Are you buying two bus passes?
- Are you having your mother drive you guys around?
- Are you borrowing someone else's car for the night?

Of course "money doesn't matter" to a damn loser who lives off of the government, their mother, etc. But to us who work for a damn living, it matters today, tomorrow, and any day.

MOST of you guys are participating on Sosuave right now, using the Comcast Internet Subscription that's in your mother's name, talking about money doesn't matter!

Why do you and others keep turning "money is a factor" into "you have to be rich to get laid"? No one said you have to be RICH. Not even one time.

Being rich gives a man a huge advantage though. Being poor gives a man a huge Disadvantage. I thought being a DJ was about having as many ADVANTAGES in this market as possible. Is it not?

Do you have a reading comprehension problem?

Why is your contribution here that money buys things?

Is money all you have to offer us, same as the ladies?
Why is money an off limits topic for you?

Important factors should be discussed here. Money is not all I offer. Is rhetoric all you offer?

No grown man should cringe when people talk about important factors like money and looks.

I just found out my last contract ends in June. The good news is I will get a glowing reference, but the bad news is I had 3 contracts going at once just two months ago, but I'm facing zero contracts shortly. Work tends to find me in my niche market. That means 60 days with no work sometimes and it's not easy.

It's a humbling feeling, knowing you aren't independently wealthy, knowing you might have to pack up and leave the state and the woman you love in order to make ends meet. It's especially hard to tell the woman. You come from a position of low self esteem, and telling her you are leaving the state is not good for romance. My last 4 contracts were work from home so I expect I will find another.

It doesn't matter how much you made in the last year, what matters is how much you saved yesterday, and how much you can earn tomorrow. It's essential to keep your expenses low also.

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

I hear ya. Of course, you can stay put if you're working from home right? The work-at-home industry is pretty big, but a lot of those you wind up being a 1099 worker (independent contractor). So you don't get any company benefits as you're not an employee.

I don't get any benefits, besides $332,000 in deposits (about $3750 per week after expenses and taxes) in the past 18 months as a 1099 contractor, working from home. Benefits are vastly overrated. If you are making $40K per year benefits mean a lot.

Hardly overrated, in fact it's unwise not to have benefits.

Not an argument. Show me the math. How much did you earn and what were the benefits?

Example. You make $75,000 per year. You take home $50,000 per year, roughly $1000 per week. So 2 weeks vacation is worth $2000. It's 4%. Add medical and you might hit 6% for benefits. So you have $53,000 per year. I make $222,000 per year with zero benefits (unless you count being able to deduct all electronics, media and most travel), so I only pay about $15,000 per year in taxes. So I take home $207,000 per year with no benefits and you get $53,000 including benefits.

Men frequently err by talking too much. They often monopolize conversations, droning on and on about topics that bore women to tears. They think they're impressing the women when, in reality, they're depressing the women.

Well, let's say if you get diagnosed with cancer. Cancer drugs cost appx around 10K a month. That's at LEAST, sometimes the therapy sessions can cost 30K a month. I should know, I've worked in the health insurance field.

Sadly, I've had quite a few friends that were cancer patients that depended on their employer for their benefits. When a layoff happened, they lost all of that. Wound up having to move in with other family members.

Benefits aren't free, any Employer that offers them is taking them out of your total compensation (as well as, their contribution to your social security account).

The 1099 employee just has to setup his own separate/private insurance plans, he won't get them setup through an employer.

Why would you keep suggesting everyone adopt a game that has made you so fvcking miserable?
I'm not fvcking miserable and what game are you talking about?

Exactly - benefits are not free. You pay for them.

What? Cancer drugs are the most toxic thing in the world. "You should know" because you worked in the poison-for-profit, Obamacare gunpoint medicine field? You mean you work in the Sick Care industry? And you're not a little partial?

Reality check for Mr. Benefits-Are-Priceless: Earning $30,000 per month is better than maybe being given $30,000 (minus deductible) worth of "free" poison (that poisons our water supplies) if you have cancer.

You can't poison a sick person better.

Next, ThisNThat will pretend that car insurance is actually worth $30,000, and that lottery tickets are worth $10 Million dollars.

And, other news...water is wet. It's called paying a premium. Comes out of your paycheck.

I was just using Cancer as an example. Okay, you get in a serious accident and you have to be airlifted in, surgery is costly.

I was just saying, if you get in a serious accident or somewhere where you need surgery, expect your bank account to take a major it when it comes to your hospital stay/bill.

Benefits aren't free, any Employer that offers them is taking them out of your total compensation (as well as, their contribution to your social security account).
Never said that insurance was free. Not sure how you would think otherwise. Of course you have to pay...better to have it and not need it, than to need it, and not have it.

And you're not a little partial?
Of course, but nothing you can do about it. Necessary evil. Personally, I prefer the idea of universal healthcare like the Europeans. But I know people that pound their fists and call it 'socialism!"

Funny, I have a friend that's early 50s, runs a mom and pop hardware store (he's the manager). He wasn't feeling well the past couple of years and I asked him when he had his last bloodwork/physical.

He said he hasn't been to a doctor since his military days. Then I found out he wasn't insured. So he won't be going in for any kind of blood work or check up to see what's going on with him. At his age, he cannot afford not to have insurance.

Absolutely false, and a line from the insurance industry. Why do you think they have to MANDATE people buy insurance? For the same reason Insurance companies build the tallest buildings. Insurance is not a zero-sum game. It is tremendously profitable for a reason. Most people pay in MORE than they get back.

I decided to forego insurance and save the $400 per month for 10 years, saving $48,000. That's my insurance.

My health insurance is I've eaten organic for 20 years and work out. When was the last time you heard the insurance companies recommend that? Their idea of "prevention" is to scan people for cancer with cancer-causing radiation devices like mammograms, and forcefully inject all humans from the moment they are born with cancer-causing vaccines that are known to contain aluminum, adjuvants, mercury (see Health Ranger's forensic report on the actual PPB content - and you don't inject tuna), formaldehyde, monkey DNA and other things that have no place in the human body.

Question: since you like to prepare for the worst, do you have a storable food supply? Water filters? Extra ammo? Extra US dollars in case the ATMs shut off?

Insurance is a necessary evil, I put it in the same category as paying your bills. I mean, you can find any reason not to pay something. I can ***** about how price of gas going up, but not not refuse to pay for gas.

What's that got to do with the health insurance premiums and the price of tea in China? lol We're getting off track here.

Food, cash, clean water and ammo aren't necessary?

Wait, you are saying we need health insurance in case we get cancer but you have no cash in case the ATMs get shut off?

So you aggressively prepare for certain crises, like "health care", to the point of wanting to force ME to pay for YOUR Prozac (which you call Universal) and completely ignore other potential crises?

You are going to cover Measles but not rioting? One person in the US per year dies of Measles (a sickly person). Did you see the Ferguson riots? Have you heard about the power outages? We are way more likely to have a financial crisis (thanks to Socialist policies like Obamacare) than we are to need cancer treatment (which wouldn't be necessary at all if they didn't keep causing it), so if you prorate by odds, you are investing your money poorly.

Dude, WTF are you talking about?! You may want to stock up on your tinfoil hats. Have a big supply of mattresses to stuff you cash into? LOL

Anyway, this conversation has steered towards the absurd "prepare of the apocalypse" topic. I'm out of here.

I know of couples who have kids to milk the benefit system where I'm from. They've had kids at 16 and never worked a day in their lives, yet have a house, car etc.

Women do like to date up, based on their definition of what 'dating up' is. What a woman classes as 'dating up' isn't always financial.

Certainly in my age group I find that it's accepted that 2 income households are the norm. Most people who I went to school with still live at home!

The reality is that sole ownership of property is unrealistic for most as they 1. Aren't earning enough & 2. Don't have the self control to save money.

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.
