I just realized something regarding tattoos.
- In the old days, only soldiers, bikers and prisoners got tattoos (all of them straight and male).
- As women became more and more corrupted they decided to emulate soldiers, bikers and prisoners (while at the same time welcoming those gay and female) so they started getting tattoos circa 1990.
- Hence, tattoos on women a generation ago made them look masculine.
- By 2000 tattoos on women became sadly very common despite a lot of men like myself literally ruling women out on account of them. As soon as I see one I think "slvvvvvvtt".
- The position of the tattoo tells you what year she was a ho (ankle: ho circa 1990; barbed wire around the bicep: ho circa 1997; tramp stamp: ho circa 2001; large side tattoo: ho circa 2008; large leg tattoo: ho circa 2015):
- Now a generation later, tattoos are more associated with trashy women than "bad boys".
- Hence, tattoos on men in this generation make them look girly.
Neither myself nor my girlfriend has any tattoos.
I like what you posted there.... Indeed tatoos are markers. They have a ''timeline'' and cultural references too
All criminals have tatoos
In the military, the tatoo is your unit / clan
In Asia,if you have a tatoo it means you were in jail or part of a criminal organization
Tatoos were warriors marks in africa
South America they protected you from spirits (ghosts)
Tatoos tell a ''history'' in some case.
Time have changed... but before like BigNeil said: Tatoos were for the ''bums'' and ''criminals''
Now, tatoos in the western world are for the ''cool'', to ''remember stuff''... ''to create an identity''
At the end of the day....
1) Tatoos won't get you laid
2) It will be a permanent mark
3) It might not age well (tatoos with age, the colours degrade)
4) If you start, you might never stop... they are addictive
5) It will open you to stereotype (criminal, mental illness, hoes, etc..)
If I ever had a tatoo, it would be on my back: A sword going the blade going down my spine, the hilt to my shoulder extend... the left omoplate (Scapula musle) would have an eagle coming out of the sword, the right omoplate (scapula muscle) would be a wolf
In short: Tatoos are a life commitment and must remain personal matter, they can look nice, but like age... they deteriorate... I had girls with tatoos... liked them... but it didnt improve the lay
