The opposition doesn't even have planes to drop the sh!t from, much less the weapons themselves, or they would have already used them.
That's not the only way they could deploy the chemical weapons. I am sure they have missiles, cannons, bombs, shells, etc.

Please tell me why the US has any sort of moral responsibility to remove Assad, when money could be better spent tackling domestic problems.
Why do we have the moral responsibility to prop him up? That's the better question, given that's what we are doing at the moment. We're sending ground troops to Syria right now to fight for Assad, not against him.

I agree with this to the extent that the US shouldn't have become involved in any way in that war to begin with.

Syria is the new korea basically. Here is a brief Syria for Dummies™ lesson

Assad is a bad guy but likes being in power

ISIS which stands for Islamic state of Iran and Syria is a threat to his power has troups in Syria and it threatens Assads power base

Russia, who has always been keep to keeping it's borders and the middle east terrorist free as terrirosts are more likely to end up in Russia than they are in the US, doesn't like isis,, plus with russia being an orthadox chistian country and all

so Assad and Russia are allies.

But Assad is a bad guy

So they want to over throw him in Syria.

So to keep his power base Assad has to go to more extreme measures

So America has a conundrum. Do we side with a guy who does bad **** to his own people but presense protects our own interests OR do we side with ISIS to get rid of a piece of ****. Because you can't do both, you are either siding with ISIS or you are siding with assad. Also, side with ISIS and out assaud and it WILL, be the start of world war III because russia isn't gonna allow ISIS to take a foot hold there

my opinioni is, without a strong US backed guy to put in his place, the devil you know is better than the devil you don't. it sucks and I hate it for the syrians who have to live inthat hell hold but we've been there before.

I don't take any MSM news seriously anymore. I do follow it. I actually wrote the below about Syria and assads chemical attacks last night because things just didn't add up and I wanted to write my thoughts on it.

Majority of people just read the news and believe it because the number 681,000 is backing up that story. What if all those 681,000 sources all reference the same source that turns out to be false/fake? I never take something thrown in my face as truth. I've worked for the largest news organization in America and now work for the largest regional paper in my area, and there are many idiots that don't even believe in real journalism anymore. Just money.

Google is joining MSM in the fight against the ALT right. I don't know if it's willingly or by force but now they are working to cut ALT right's funding.

I always ask myself when I read a story that doesn't make sense.

Who benefits from this
Who suffers
What are the sources
Can I verify the validity of the sources

--

Who benefits from Assad using chemical weapons? (Everyone but Assad)
Who suffers (Assad, his regime, his people, his country)
What are the sources (can't verify)
Validity of sources (can't verify)

BS radar (high but who really knows)

im thinking syrian attack is staged. Deep state is funding isis/rebels to committ this attack. Why would assad draw attention to himself now of all times when things are stabilizing, ISIS on backfoot, and he has some breathing room.

Makes absolutely no sense for him to do this. If you're going to use chemical weapons on your enemies that will result in collateral damage on innocents, why not just bomb. Why use a weapon that will draw in other nations. Especially with Russia right there to help them. They do not need the world turning on them. Deep state definitely funded this attack. Attack probably happened and that's why trump has to come out and condemn the attack instead of calling it a lie, which he would do if he had intel it was fake. Trying to draw US back into this stupid war for oil/US dollar.

There's also a huge attack on the ALT right media. MSM is losing the media war. The corporate war mongers that control the world can no longer effectively manipulate the people through MSM as the younger generation watches less and less TV and are using alternative news sources like twitter, reddit, and YouTube. They have not been able to effectively silence the ALT right media and the fake news meme has actually turned and backfired on MSM. They've decided to attack ALT right media at the core, which is the funding. If ALT right media runs out of funding, they run out of support, and can no longer produce content. Funding comes from advertising and since they own many large corporations and have their people all over the world sitting on the boards of these companies or in C level positions. They've effectively banded together under the guise that their advertisements are showing in bad places and want to cut funding from Google entirely until good can guarantee that their ads no longer show on ALT right media related news content (other alt right people are being demonetized as well).

Fakes news has not stopped Alt Right media from crushing MSM. Getting celebrities on board endorsing MSM and other puppet figures has not worked. Media manipulation is no longer working and they're working on cutting funding to them. Corporations are banding together to pressure google into changing advertising algorithms so alt right can't monetize ads on their sites, videos, etc. Just like ISIS, stop their oil sales and they take a major hit. Cut advertising revenues from ALT right, and they take a major hit.

Destabilizing trump from the inside with all of MSM against him. Drawing him away from peaceful relationship with Russia.

This is obviously too complex for the ordinary person to realize and they will deem this a conspiracy but I guess that's why they're known as the sheeple. My two cents.

FYI - George Soros is also linked to The Guardian.

This is MSM brainwashing.

The real reason is an oil pipeline that will go through Iraq and Syria. Russia and US both want it. Assad wouldn't work with US so US is out to dethrone him. Assad would rather work with Russia who is willing to help him stay in power. Do your research instead of spouting MSM non sense. Redbull also gives you wings FYI.

If Trump was talking about how much the chemical attack upset him, then how can it be fake news? Are you saying GREAT LEADER has been tricked by the big bad media? How could that be?

fake news that Assad used chemical weapons to kill his own people. I don't think he killed his own people. Probably ISIS or rebels funded by CIA.

Not bashing on what you think BB but I've always been the type of person to always give that outlier the time of day to hear their side.
We can always just stay out of it, like we do with dozens of other conflicts around the globe.
There is an oil pipeline that goes through Iraq and Syria that we want. We already control Iraq and we now want control of Syria. Assad will not give us the control we want so we need to dethrone him and take over his country for that control and build that pipeline.

That's pretty much why we are there and not in other places around the world. We are not humanitarians. Every country is always out for its own gain. Otherwise we'd be in Africa saving Africans for their mass killings, bombings, kidnappings.

The opposition doesn't even have planes to drop the sh!t from, much less the weapons themselves, or they would have already used them. Assad is the one who has always had chemical weapons and already used them in the past. Obviously, Assad thinks he can get away with it now, because the Russians are in charge in Syria, not the US, and not any sort of silly International Agreements, like the kind that ban chemical weapons.
You don't need planes to use chemical weapons - there are many other delivery methods, including simple artillery shells. Did you read the article I linked? New York Times is not exactly a pro-Trump publication.

And if you put your thinking cap on for a second and stop listening to the nonse you get on the idiot box, it should be pretty obvious that the narrative of Assad using chemical weapons makes no logical sense. I could see him doing it in an act of desperation a couple of years ago, when it looked like his regime was about to collapse. But now? He recently had a big win in Aleppo; he's winning in a number of other places. The Russians are bombing the sh!t out of his opponents. The rebels are on their last breath. A couple of days ago, Tillerson said that removing Assad was no longer a US foreign policy objective. So how does Assad respond? Why, by dropping chemical weapons on civilians of course! How dumb do you have to be to actually believe this sh!t??

And let's consider the sources of the "intelligence" reports about this attack. The original source is Turkey - a country that has been boosting ISIS for years by buying oil from them and keeping their border open. Turkey also sees the removal of Assad as their number one goal. Gee, is it possible that they fabricated the report (two days after the US said they no longer sought to remove Assad) to force Trump's hand? This is too much of a coicidence.

And then you have the CIA and other US intelligence agencies disseminating this information to the presdent. Their record of lying about WMD's speaks for itself. Iraq anyone? It seems quite likely that Trump is getting played.

You make a lot of good points. There are many eyewitness reports of the attack coming from a plane...but that's not to say that the CIA wasn't flying that plane.

Is Trump really getting tricked, or is he just pretending to be tricked?

I actually thought Trump was doing a good job working on many of the things he campaigned on given that he has no political experience. It just seems like he's fighting an civil war within the government. His administration with some spies planted against the rest of the government and media. I think he's doing a damn good job surviving this long being blackmailed, spied on, and setting up many of his key members to be framed. He's managed to hold his own and even win some battles. The past presidents of late took forever to get anything done so it was a breathe of fresh air to see him, even if he isn't the greatest public figure. He was always a bully. I didn't like him at first since he seemed obnoxious but I figured if he could be a bully for our country, that would work. He's turned out to be exactly that, bullying corporations to keep their factories and jobs in the country (i highly doubt it's a long term solution but it's a start). I don't work in any of those industries so I don't really care, it's just nice to seem a president do something he said he was going to do.

Now this whole Assad chemical attack and how Trump responded so quickly, really has me questioning him now. He's played so many good moves up until now, fighting a major uphill battle but then makes a massive fvck up like this? Seems fishy to me that less than a day after the attack we retaliate. Less than an hour after our attack, Assad's regime responds confirming attack. First time seeing coordination like this. So either Trump has played a good game up until now and fooled us, or there's more to this attack. Either way, I'd rather him there than hildebeast.

By the way, the end times prophecy that ISIS follows says that the "Armies of Rome" will come to slay them until they are almost defeated. At that point, they believe Jesus will come down from heaven to join sides with ISIS and start kicking the US Army's ass. I wish I was making all this up.
I really, really hope you're not a Christian (as your screen name seems to suggest) and saying this, because then your beliefs are way more zany and far-fetched than ISIS's. I mean, Christians actually, truly believe that a demigod (whose mother conceived him by being impregnated by an invisible god without having sex with her) had to be killed in order to save them from going to a place where they would have been burned and tortured for eternity, all because a woman was tricked into eating a magic piece of fruit by a talking snake. Now, I wish I was making all that up -- but I don't think I'd have had a wild enough imagination for it.

Thank you so much for the unsolicited, off-topic spiritual advice. The extent to which I value your opinion cannot be put into words.
