I have to say, LS tends to coddle the female gender over there as of late. Lately though, they've been getting on to me about posting about online dating experiences and begrudging the female gender that has flaked out or whatever.

This one person posted about his experience with online dating and how a waste of time it is and how women have it easier.

I said something like "Yeah, I saw an overweight woman say, 'I got a few extra pounds on me, so if you don't like thicker women, don't waste my time!'" Then in the next breath..she said, "I like athletic, toned men..." and I mentioned this in a post (response to the OP) and said how quite double standard it was and that this woman should know her place when finding someone more equally matched to her physically.

They booted me, figured that the post was berating to women, when it was a legitimate critique. Apparently, I had done this one too many times, but I can never tell if I'm doing it or not, because I'm not personally berating any members of the forum, but online dating and the behaviors of those behind it.

Back in my AFC days i actually joined that forum and posted about my BPD ex, (this was in the first couple of months knowing her)

And basically i posted a laundry list of red flags and asked if it was a good idea to be involved with her etc

They were all "yeah man she just needs a kind, understanding, loving partner who won't judge her"

So i went with that.

6 months later i wash up on the shores of sosuave a broken man.

Apparently, they have this so-called "berating policy" that is left ambiguous. I thought the "berating" was limited to taking personal shots at an actual forum poster...but apparently, it expands to the posters online dating subjects...that are women.

Believe it or not, they actually merged what they thought was something I had already posted about in the past and merged THAT post with it. I was like "Oh okay, didnt' realize I did that." and I was thinking that maybe my duplicate post was a few weeks ago.

But the idiots merged it with a post similar in nature from TWO YEARS ago! lol

I get the feeling the moderators don't work for a living.

I was in that forum a couple of months ago and they did not treat me bad somehow, mainly the guys. However, I would agree that having a lot of women there is always the recipe for disaster when it comes to advice towards men.

POF used to be that way as well, when they had volunteer moderators. The women would get upset at the male posters, and tell on the omderators and would have then banned from the forums simply becaus they didn't agree with them.

One more thing to add: there is this other forum that is called enotalone, probably some of you guys might have heard of it. I went there when I broke up with my girlfriend. They absolutely made me feel so horrible for even trying to save my relationship. Like, I was absolutely in pain and the only thing they could say was "she better leave you and she did good to leave you cause you're a controlling macho man playing games on her. We wonder why she did not leave you before". Just furthered my feelings of guilt and made me feel more like ****.

The difference between SS and other forums is that here people point out the bull**** of the girl and your bull****. On forums like LS or ENA, they demonize you for being the big, bad man while the girl is the hurt princess EVEN IF SHE LEFT YOU lol

2 years ago when i was dating an NPD/BPD girl (before i knew what a cluster b was) i was searching the internet for dating and relationship advice. Loveshack was my first point of call and i stuck around their forum. A few months later my heart and soul was being extracted through my A Hole and i ended up on a forum for abused Men going through severe PTSD lol.
