I HATE this question. I do not love, nor will I. But I have too much pride to lie and say that I do so I end up always trying to work around it. But when it is really pressed, I don't know what to do. I just her I am annoyed now because of that. I even said yes once before. but I refuse to say "I love you" to anyone other than my family members. What workarounds do you guys have?

Bro just say "Sure why not." Tell them what they want to hear and move on. It's not like you interviewing for medical school and facing gruelling interview questions. It's one emotional question from a girl who needs some reassurance because she lack self confidence.

What they ask/say depends on their mood at the time and the use you have for them. You think she would care if you loved her if a big time Director discovered her the next day? She would likely forget your name. Don't put so much value into what these girls say. o_O

Just be honest.

And are you being honest by saying you will never love. Do you know everything? Have you experienced everything? Then how can you say you will never know or experience love?

Strong points. I just hate being asked it in general and hate constant reassurance. I feel it is weak behavior and I vowed to never be weak again.

I do not love. I have loved before, been heartbroken, been through all that stuff WAAAAY before anyone SHOULD have even been able to go through it. Now I can control myself very well. I choose whether or not I love a person, like a switch. There are very few people who I cannot do this with (my brother and parents). And I never said I will never know or experience love either.

I think it's a mistake to tell yourself you could never love a woman, but regardless, when the question comes up an indirect and playful answer is best. Emotional talk can be a huge turn off to women unless they REALLY want it, so better to be safe and make them pry it out of you so you know for sure they really do want it. Saying something absurd, then doing the opposite is a good "technique". "I don't know. I love your ass, does that count?" or "No, I totally hate you." then kiss her.

I agree though that you shouldn't ever give a straight answer and say yes even if you are in love with her. If you love her it should be apparent in your actions. You plan fun dates, you make her feel safe, you have great sex, and if you're in love and exclusive you're not dating other women. When a woman asks you if you love her that's really all she wants to know. She wants to know you're not going to leave her because she doesn't want to lose you, and if you do the aforementioned things then she will know that you are, even if her emotions sometimes get best of her and she worries you might not.

Do you love me?
Not yet?
Nope, but you are a great shag?
I would if you didn't ask so many annoying questions.
Sure I do. What did you say your name was?
Yup, every sexy inch of you, especially these, and these...
I'll show you how I feel about you. Get naked right now!
I like you and we have a lot of fun together. Just enjoy it.
I think we have something very special.
I don't have the words for how I feel about you.
Why, are you proposing?
That depends... What does love mean to you?
Is that how you feel about me? (put the pressure back on her).

Good points. I always tried showing through actions instead of words and even told her that, I always came up with the playful responses to avoid it too. In the end it didn't matter though, I was too tough to break I suppose so she left

I always say: "Of course!"

Tell b!tches what they want to hear. It costs you nothing. Just like they can change their minds/emotions later so can you.
This may be manipulative to some extent, but I totally agree.

There's a lot out there saying the woman should define the relationship, or rather let her bring up exclusivity and labels and all of that first. But, if you're the man you should be, then I guarantee she's going to cream her panties if you tell her you want this to be exclusive or that she's your girlfriend or whatever. Basically, I agree with telling them whatever they want to hear. If you do your job right, this is the crap she wants to hear.

I understand, but I hate lying. I can do it so easily if I so choose to, but I feel like I am lying to myself though and that is what irks me. I have to lie to get what I want but it bothers me, or if I don't lie, they are gonna give me **** and I won't get what I want.

Saying I love you or yes I want an exclusive relationship all bite you in the ass later IMVHO but YMMV. It also seems like giving it up too easy. I love you and a commitment to exclusivity is what they want. Make them work for it..

Could you imagine some needy guy saying this to a woman he was seeing who has options? What do you think that woman would do?

This is also why I hate saying it too, I always had a feeling that it would turn into a disadvantage later on like you said, and it is giving up too easily.

She had a **** ton of options and I didn't say it to her directly. I was the one who got in her too lmao.

I disagree.

If they want to hear it, then you should tease them. They want it more than you.

I always remembered the scene as a kid from "Empire Strikes Back":

Alpha.

That's great.. but her "I love you" was not in the form of a question.

OP asked what to say if a woman asks "Do you love me?" not what to say if a woman says "I love you".

Her saying that is so much easier than asking, hence this thread.

Mmm sometimes.....

With a big jerk smile & a wink. Go in for the hug, kiss, grab her ass etc.

Defuse, bvtches always being insecure.

It works 67.8% of the time! Depends on the chick & how insecure she is. Woman loved to teased just as much as the next one.

Do you love me? (like I love you.....is the message)

Her: Do you love me?
You: Not as much as you love me, my little flower..

It's not a lie and it's ambiguous. Woman love ambiguity.
