I'm guessin' you express not a single preference on your POF profile and will seek out any woman to go out with.

She's not 'degrading' anyone. She expressed a preference.
I like how you're catty. Good job.
Sorry. You glossed over the part of you believing that someone expressing a preference is degrading in the post to which I responded.

your self-loathing is none of a woman's or anyone else's business.
Like I said, it's her tone. Again you glossed over the part where I said "fine" to many women desiring a man who is taller.
There is no self-loathing here. You are obviously bothered by me questioning why men feel the need to spend money on women in another post. So sorry to offend you brother.

You got 'tone' from printed words?

Interesting.
Yes believe it or not Tic Tac, you can convey tone with writing words. I'm having a hard time believing you're dumb enough to think otherwise.

I'm having a harder time with you believing that because someone expresses a preference, you think it's degrading. Those thoughts are yours not the writer's.

Again, you gloss over the point I was making about her tone. A preference is a preference. You have yours and are entitled to them. Just as she has her preference for taller men. Was it necessary to write "sorry short guys"? No, it wasn't. I have a preference for thin women who are physically active. I don't write "so sorry fat girls". I just select body type preference and say I'm looking for someone who likes to get out and be active. And I leave it at that.

So sensitive!

She wrote poorly. You took it even more poorly.

Do you often comb profiles to hurt your own feelings?
I feel like I'm arguing with a woman here. Jesus.
To make it clear. I wasn't offended. I recognized it as rude because it was rude. No, I don't comb through profiles looking for something to hurt my feelings. Yet it's unavoidable to make observations when reading anything. I'm 6 ft 1 and have no reason to be offended by the comment. Yet if I was short, I would probably be offended by the tone. Some women prefer men who make $150K+. That's cool. But if she writes, "so sorry poor boys". I'd recognize it as rude.

You get your feelings all torqued up over nothing. You sure you're not a woman?
My theory -- women wear high heels mostly because they're insecure, and high heels make them feel like they're measuring up to a larger pool of men. Yet ironically by artificially and temporarily increasing her height, she is artificially shrinking the pool of quality male suitors who are already taller than she is.

It didn't really hit me why some women do this until I noticed how mean women are when talking about the shorter half of men. For example, last week when I was looking over profiles on POF, a few women made degrading digs at men on the shorter side. Here was one comment that stood out to me - "Btw boys, I like my high heels, so you better be 6ft+, so sorry short guys.

Why so mean? Because she hates that part of herself that she sees as inferior to men. By being able to crush a man's ego and reduce his worth in society, she feels empowered.
These are your words. Your indignation is pathetic. You assigning your feelings to what other people wrote is rather funny.

So we both think we're writing to women posing as men. Glad we agree on something.
