Hi All,

Let me share something-The Jedi Code

There is no emotion, there is peace.
There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.
There is no passion, there is serenity.
There is no chaos, there is harmony.

Why is this relevant?

This is how you should conduct yourself as a DJ. Others have mentioned emotional control in the past but I'll explain why.

Emotions:

Emotions are the territory of the woman. They serve no purpose but to cloud your actions. This includes love and hate, the two sides.

Love: We've all been there, whether it's in our beta/afc days or oneitis. We all agree in hindsight that love made us do things we wouldn't logically do.

Hate: Butthurt/ frustration/ anger at rejection. We've all lost it sometimes. Whether it's plates playing games, other men in the picture or HBs being irrational. Cool your ire and have some perspective.

Remove emotions from your life- always be aware of your actions and if you feel yourself losing control take and deep breath and remove yourself from the situation. This includes your professional life as well as your personal life.

Ignorance

"Knowledge is power"

To blindly walk into something is to invite disaster.

Educate yourselves, this is true of everything. Information is widely available. There is no excuse to not be educated.

Act with the knowledge of the situation.

This forum is here to provide just that. If in doubt- ask and be educated and consequently be better as a man.

Passion

Do not give into passion. Passion has made many a man do stupid things, from the wars of Troy to the countless deaths of young nobleman over their courtships.

NO WOMAN is worth you giving into passion.

Remover passion and find your calm, your peace. Things are as they are. Change the things you can and accept the fact that you cannot change some things.

The latter part is the most important- woman cannot be changed. Do not stress over the why- simply accept them and act accordingly. A hoe is a hoe, a cheat is a cheat. A BPD cannot be fixed.

Chaos

"Chaos has no master- it serves no one."

Order is everything. Chaos does not serve you. Get your sh*t in order.

If you don't have your life in order- DO NOT date. To invite women into your life when it is not already ordered will only cause destruction.

Do not let others distract you from putting the pieces of your life in order. People serve their own interests- they will not assist you.

Note: This does not mean one cannot be spontaneous and fun.

but you forgot, passion is also what made people do great things, or you really think any rich dude here had no passion for what he was doing?

one thing I know I lack is passion, if I had more passion about things I did I could do it a lot better, I can do anything right, but I always lack that something else, that thing who make you like what you are doing.

chaos also is not a bad thing persee, too much chaos is bad yes, but chaos also means change, if you only have order in your life you do not change, you keep going, and is you are not willing to change you will get behind.

the real word here you should look for is balance

Next time I visit the Dagobah system, I'll keep this in mind.

(Thanks for the edit Reykehl)
Reminds me, I need to fly my millenium falcon more. It just sits there collecting dust. /verbal irony

I give up.

Tried to write some meaningful advice. Wasted.

This forum is full of retarded 'give me advice' or 'what do I do next'

Advice was good, already present in many ascetic traditions, from which the Jedi code extracted it's doctrines. But people like to laugh at nerd stuff, don't get discouraged man, who cares anyhow!

Come on now... I like Star Wars, but the Jedi silliness is just asking for it!

"trust your feelings, you must...."

It's like those people who only trust their gut.... mine's full of sh1t!

We're just having fun anyway, have a beer or a drink!

Thank you for your sensible reply.

A fair point.

Balance is key but I also think that the problems for most betas/AFCs is getting too emotionally involved rather than being too cold.

I don't agree Chaos is change- change can be ordered. Hence why in fitness for example you are told to plan and order your progress and that is a key to success.

I give up too, but every now and then I drop in to shine some light on something when I see a true brother in need. If all the good people give up, other good people in progress take longer to get where they are going.

So I sympathize with you very much and appreciate the work you may have put in over the years and people like you who helped me- but don't leave! This forum clearly needs us whether most realize it or not.

Ahh thats so sweet...

I'm happy for you that you got the validation and appreciation that you were obviously so
desperately craving.

Your reactions reveal that you were outcome dependent upon your thread. It reminds me of
something the Pook lad wrote about the fact that his posts were basically like he was writing
to himself. For me that said he was formulating ideas and opinions and if you agreed with them
or disagreed with them, if you liked them or disliked them, it was all the same. It didn't really
matter.

I realize you went to great effort with your thread, using color crayons and everything....and you didn't get
the reaction you wanted. But you have to accept that's the way it goes. Some threads which seem to have less perceived merit go on for pages and pages. Others don't....

Oh and probably when you start a thread with "....this is how DJ's should conduct themselves....."

.....well, I'll let you reflect on that a little.

May the force be with you ;)
