I don't know why people get so offended that some people don't like tattoos. You are caring but you spaz out when there is a disagreement?

Read my post history I never reply this way, but this is just nonsense. I dont like boatshoes but id never say the people who wear them smell of frat house and jagerbombs.. Like wtf?
And maybe it hit a nerve because i have like 50 tattoos and think im a great man..

A bunch of DJs were just chatting that there was a correlation between multiple tattoos and crazy hoes/ BPDs and slvts.

I'm saying it makes me extra wary (but that's personal experience rather than judgement).

From a psychological point of view many of those who undergo any sort of body modification do so often because it is the only part of their lives that they can control.

The other point to note is that one red flag doesn't mean you're out to most. It merely heightens your awareness.

@Glumix totally stole what I was gonna say. But my experience is this: "Not all women who are into body modification have BPD; but every woman who has BPD is into body modification."

And you can even look into the DSM-IV to see why that correlation exists:

1. identity disturbance: markedly and persistently unstable self-image or sense of self. Tattoos, hair-dying, etc. aren't necessarily indicators of an unstable sense of self. But people w/ an unstable self-image are compelled to build that image up with something--external props such as tattoos, hair color, & piercing. Tattoos, especially, give a sense of permanence & continuity--I don't know who I am, but, Oh, look, I still have that same tattoo; I'm not at risk of totally losing my sense of self. Same reason pwBPD are big into mementos; it gives a sense of object permanence that helps to anchor them from total disassociation.
   
   
2. impulsivity in at least two areas that are potentially self-damaging (e.g. spending, sex, substance abuse, reckless driving, binge eating). This does not include suicidal or self-harming behaviour. Getting a tattoo isn't necessarily an impulsive decision--but it often is. The more tattoos a girl has, the more likely that at least one of those was a totally impulsive decision w/ permanent repercussions. Impulsive, risk-taking behavior, for guys, is often a positive trait; for women, it's a sign that something's wrong. It's why girls almost universally find tattoos attractive on men, but men should be wary of girls w/ tattoos.
   
   
3. recurrent suicidal behaviour, gestures, or threats, or self-mutilating behaviour. A lot of pwBPD enjoy the pain of body modification. I'm not saying that tattoos and piercing are always a form of self-mutilation, but they often serve as a proxy for it.

This is coming from a guy who has ink (not a lot, but some) and has enjoyed the aesthetic of it on various women (a handful of whom were Cluster B or damn close lol). I also know girls with ink that are hella cool, just like I'm sure there are girls with no tattoos who are total wh0res and succubi. But it's a little naive to not look at tattoos as you screen women.

We're men--our bodies are supposed to get marked by the world. We're supposed to get scarred and marked and mauled. On us, it's a display of fitness. Women, the more they are marked by the world, the less relationship fitness they display.

I agree with your judgement of her based upon her tattoo choices. It represents bad decision making.

Tatoos are here to stay, I never figured it be so common place. I don't have any, my signature will be a great physique, I feel like getting a tattoo today for me would be like "following the herd", but I got an earing when it was stylish and didn't feel like that. I know it's just fashion.

A muscular guy, an mma fighter or army ranger with tattoos are fine to me as long as we talk about decent tatoos.

What I find obnoxious are tattoos on women even small ones on calves, while I find ridicolous skinnyfat dudes with spaghetti arms and tribal all around an arm.

On women I dont like anything like tatoos, piercing or any other modification, sometime even the red pain on their nails bothers me but at least that one can be removed.

A tattoo on her lower back makes me wanna bang her missionary and I hate that position.

I think chicks with tattoos are sexy and I find most of them are pretty freaky as well...

I would rather take my pride in not judging people based on skin art, rather than having it or not. I really can't find any justification for shaming people with tattoos, even though I have none myself. If anyone wants a tattoo or not is a personal choice for their own reason whatever it may be. I don't think it's any better for a guy to avoid getting one just to impress you, just like I don't think they should get one to impress women. Anything done solely for the purpose of impressing anyone is stupid.

However, it's also your personal choice to dislike or like others with tattoos. That does NOT mean it's ok to shame anyone who falls into either group, but you have the freedom to stay away from and ignore people with tattoos.

With this I conclude that the OP should shut the fvck up and go about his business leaving the rest of us in peace.
