Tattoos: Pride is NOT having any

I personally think they smell of vanity, attention and insecurity. Any guy who gets one to impress girls is WEAK!!
20 years and go and more , I guess having one made you stand out, but NOT anymore, since it seems like over 50% of guys,especially those under 35 have ATLEAST one.

I feel like I am in the MINORITY by not having any and that I STANDOUT.

However, since most women are STUPID, they probably find me BORING since I don't have any tattoos, piercings nor do I wear any type of jewelry (gold chain, watch, etc)

Any thoughts?

Not to mention how terrible tattoos will look when you are 70.

To each their own if thats what people want to do. The tattoos I don't like are the ones on people who get them all over their face. I think that looks completely stupid. When I see them caked all over a face I immediately think "insecure". But when i see them like on arms, etc., I don't think anything of it.

Tattoos is a form of tribalism and it is degenerate to have any tattoos. If a girl has any tattoos then I see it as a red flag.

Exactly. Sadly, though, that guy is probably getting poon that he would not otherwise get with out all of that garbage ink smeared all over his face. Women love their 'bad boys'

Never understood the 'Holier than thou' attitude people have toward tattoos/piercing. Usually had by an older dude upset women are/were fūcking guys with tattoos and not them because they were 'different.'

If a woman fūcks me just because I have ink on me? Whats the beef? Especially if it looks great. Done by the right person and the right kind, tattoos can look great.

Also, who cares if tattoos look bad when your 70? Your 70 lol. Which they don't even look that bad then.

That's an opinion. A point of view. Probably a rather limited world view.

I think the real issue here is you and you're inner game.

Your post smacks of judgement. Why are you being judgmental is revealed in your post. You say that since most women are stupid, they probably find you boring since you don't have any tattoos. So there we go, the wonderful skill of "mind reading". You're imagining what these women are thinking about you and you are imagining that they are judging you as being boring because you don't have tattoos. So your post ends up being a manifestation of the judgement you feel towards you. A projection of your own judgement if you will. By the way, in CBT they call mind reading an "error in thinking".

Let's go further down the rabbit hole, shall we. You imply that guys with tattoos gives you the impression of vanity, attention an insecurity. This to me smells of shaming. Your feminine side is shaming men with tattoos by labelling them as vain, attention seekers and insecure. So really I must agree with @Tictac that you should find your balls. Read up on masculinity and get in touch with your own masculinity. Read Robert Bly's Iron John and you'll find that he actually offers a different perspective on tattooing.

The insecurity thing, again I can't help but feel your projecting your own insecurity here. Would you consider Lionel Messi, the Barcelona and Argentina soccer player who has an amazing sleeve tattoo as insecure? What about David Beckham the former England captain and now involved in the Miami soccer franchise who's covered in tattoos? Insecure?

I don't have a tattoo, piercing of any kind, nor do I wear jewelry. I do this because that is how I like it. If you want to decorate yourself like a Christmas tree then go ahead and do it. It's what you want.

I've just never though of anything so important that I needed to have it permanently drawn on my skin, and I find jewelry annoying. I don't have anything against anyone that does, to be perfectly honest I most often don't even notice tattoos anymore since everyone appears to have them. In New Orleans you would be hard pressed to find a restaurant where the wait staff doesn't have tats and piercing in odd places.

Unless it is REALLY over the top obnoxious I don't even notice this anymore.

What I find obnoxious are tattoos on women even small ones on calves, while I find ridicolous skinnyfat dudes with spaghetti arms and tribal all around an arm.

On women I dont like anything like tatoos, piercing or any other modification, sometime even the red pain on their nails bothers me but at least that one can be removed.

A tattoo on her lower back makes me wanna bang her missionary and I hate that position.

The CEO of one of Wall Street's most successful REITs is a guy I smoke cigars with on occasion. When he's in his $7,000 suit, you'd never know he has tattoo sleeves. He gets laid like its his job.

I don't care for tattoos, piercings or any of that. But we both enjoy a good Padron.

Ive met a ton of ppl who say they dont want tattoos but never someone judgemental of tattooed people unless they were like 60 yrs old.

I don't know why people get so offended that some people don't like tattoos. You are caring but you spaz out when there is a disagreement? Really, you start talking about racism in another post? I don't know where the thread is- search for it.

A bunch of DJs were just chatting that there was a correlation between multiple tattoos and crazy hoes/ BPDs and slvts.

I'm saying it makes me extra wary (but that's personal experience rather than judgement).

From a psychological point of view many of those who undergo any sort of body modification do so often because it is the only part of their lives that they can control.

I'm not agreeing with OP. I'm merely commenting.
