What happened to the Ones?

See, we have this two different visions. In one feminism is ruining women and men react against that, adapting and maybe trying to revert our society to a better model for us. And then this other one, when we are simply understanding better each day how women are and becoming aware of they being a source of more problems than rewards. Maybe it's only natural to evolve from the first vision to the second one as we gain a deeper understanding, maybe the first vision has elements of neediness and the second one is completly free of that.

The first vision is what I hope will ultimately come to pass. The second vision is only possible if you either have no libido or it's being abundantly satisfied because women are after you, both are solutions that don't work on a societal scale. The problem today is that while women are basically united with each other, men are fundamentally competing against each other which along with rigging the game is a basic older-than-dirt setup for one group to gain control over another whether it's politically, economically or whatever.

Many guys will say something like who cares what other people do, just be on top of the game and you'll win. This creates an environment where you blame the player instead of the rigged game and keeps everyone playing the sh!tty game that gets worse and worse, which ultimately works against men as a whole but rewards the few who "make it". Men are born suckers by default because our biology makes us less valuable to and more craving for women than vice versa, and then it's up to individual accomplishment, biological luck and what society is like to make or break the man.

It comes down to your view. Should civilization ignore or help men?

I do remember that "back then", around 2007, it was a total PUA fest. Everybody was advising you to wear Fedoras, read palms and play stupid games.

When I first showed up in 2001, about half the members here were pushing Ross Jeffries Speed Seduction. There was even a "Speed Seduction Bible". When was the last time you heard someone mention Speed Seduction here?

This board has been slowly progressive with it's collective knowledge which is probably why I'm still around. I've been on other forums that have been rehashing the same subjects as they were 10 years ago. This place is NOTHING like it was 10 years ago.

I guess self-improvement also leads to progressive understanding and knowledge, even when it's collective.

Yes, we could find a middle point between the two visions. So both are right; the second could be a defensive one to not get into ****ty situations with women, and the first an aggresive one, which could remind us that better societies (for us) are possible. But if we could ever regress to a patriarchal society we should never forget the red-pill lens.

The problem I see is that if we want to help our society to be more stable by regressing to a patriarchal model, we, as individuals, should stop playing the game. We should somehow find quality women to form traditional families and try to expand this model in our communities. Of course, this, assuming it is possible at all, would be extremly difficult and hurtful to the men who decided to do so. We already have enough shared experiencies trying to save *****s or trying to be a good provider in a family. So while a lot of men would like to be traditional fathers, maybe is not even possible anymore, so we are only left with the option to play the game.

I never got the whole 'women are worthless', 'men are better' thing. There are a few misogynists here and a lot of guys that take their weak game out on women. It's sort of funny that some men bust on women for being so picky while guys talk about anything less than. '7' on some imaginary scale as leash worthy. Hypocritical or just unaware of the humor in it? Who knows?

Men and women are surely different. But I've always had the idea that we were and are complementary and that's treated me well (except for that catastrophic divorce thing). Even hypergamy is understandable. I don't like it. But I get it. If you want to fish, best to understand fish and the water they live in rather than blame fish for being fish and living in the water.

I don't believe he is saying they are literally "worthless", that is up to you to decide. I believe he is balancing out the societal expectation in all forms of media that men are literally disposable props and perfectly interchangeable. This "women are lower" viewpoint is to circumvent the "man is lower" viewpoint that they carry.

And many of these other aggressive viewpoints, are merely to circumvent the similar viewpoints that "hot girls" use to elevate themselves over men.

No they did not. The "red pill" is just an expansion of the things they knew back then. The general knowledge on this forum has grown. Social dynamics have changed since we are able to observe women in their true colors by observing their social media. How they take pics, the statuses they post, the filters they use, the amount of selfies they take, etc...Social media exposed how women today are highly narcissistic. This was not the case in the early 00s.

I'm not sure about social media being the thing that blew the doors open, although it's made everything more prominent and evident. Online dating has been constantly deteriorating and a lot of the pro-feminist point of views have become a common sight. I honestly believe that we're in for quite a backlash which has already begun with the whole MGTOW and Red Pill movement.

After being around this board for so long, I've begun asking myself, "What is going to be the next big thing to hit Sosuave?" When I got here, it was Speed Seduction. Then Ganji Games. Then the PUA scene. Then being the Alpha Male. Now it's MGTOW. Every "fad" that sweeps through Sosuave leaves a few gold nuggets which add to the general knowledge base of this forum. All these "fads" are very much interlinked with each other, and the ones that seek to improve themselves are able to use the gold nuggets to expand their knowledge on how to handle women, society, and life in general.

This forum has caused me to feel like a bright light walking around, looking at a world of people living in darkness.

Not Gods, but they think the world revolves around them and they believe they deserve to be treated like a celebrity. The desperate AFCs who flood them with social media attention with likes and comments gave them this platform. All social media did was exposed how western people socialize, communicate, and interact but all it really did was show us how self centered and self absorbed people really are. You can easily judge a girl's self esteem by looking at her profile.

A lot of people on social media put on this mask to make themselves feel bigger than they really are. The people you think are living the life by judging their profile are usually the loneliest people you would ever meet in person.

The problem is, I don't always want to fish... and these fish walk on land and are part of society.

I aslo believe people should be held to a higher standard and level of accountability than fish. I wouldn't take it personally if a shark attacked me, but if some street dwelling thug did... I would.

It's not just women, men are part of the problem as well. I blame all people who contribute to it. Because unlike fish, people have a choice. People can choose whether to be brainwashed by the media, to subscribe to absurd beliefs, or to succumb to lousy behavior.

Women certainly are not useless, the species would not be able to survive without them. As you say, males and females are complimentary, but it just so happens that the male should take the dominant/leading position. Unfortunately, in today's society, many men are emasculated to the point where they are not capable of fulfilling that obligation.

As for increased pessimism on boards such as this, I think back in the day people were more willing to blindly believe what the PUA gurus were selling. A lot of it was new and novel, but over time people realized a lot of it was also BS (looks don't matter), a lot of it was only of limited use (works best on bar slvts), and the lifestyle in general was not necessarily satisfying for everybody. Self improvement is the best aspect of these forums.

I couldn't resist this thread. I agree with yewki. the big issue I have with women these days is that they run exactly the same game in the workplace. I can choose whether or not I date girls but I still have to earn a Paycheck. I've had two women's this year trying to steal my job by stabbing on my back. I've watched them get away with manipulation and personal attacks. we're all contractors and any guy that tried those tactics would be out the door. and they all band together so you can't really defend yourself for fear of the sisterhood. now before everyone jumps on my back for being piss weak - I have fought and won. I'm not complaining about the competition I'm complaining about the dirty swamp they are creating that we all have to work in. we used to chat about our weekends and now if somebody asks I just say good because if I give out any information sum ***** will use it against me.

I also hate how society completely de-values single guys. and the guys are to blame on this one as well. I noticed this at the sports meetups I go to. all the Thirsty Guys close around the few attractive girls and hardly talk to other guys. what the f*** happened to bros before hoes

and often when I suggest meeting up with my couple friends they ask me if I'm bringing a girl along. we've been friends for years and it's as if suddenly I'm not a big enough draw card on my own.

I work around all these issues but they're all symptoms of an unhealthy Society

I will always love individual women but I'm not sure that I can respect them collectively. and the manginas and white knights are worse.
