Prove it. History is subjective.
That's an accepted fact, but Islam hardly has anything to do with it. Individual rulers always make their own rules. Consider Ulughbek who had the most advanced observatory in the world at the time. He was ruler of his country, and he bent Islam to his will. He build mosques - still standing today - with an insignia "Striving for Knowledge is the duty of every Muslim". He basically forced Science on his people.

And today we have other rulers, or powerful groups that say the exact opposite. Consider Boko Haram - "Education is forbidden [for Muslims]". And they are forcing it on their people.

Rulers and politicians are the problem, really. Those crazy religions are just interchangable.

Muslims basically pillaged and stole from other societies.

If Muslims actually follow the whole Quran and don't cherry pick, Islam is not compatible with democracy or science.

Those animals need ruthless dictators to keep their societies stable.

I don't believe Muslims invented algebra. I wouldn't trust what bias far left wing professors say.http://gatesofvienna.net/2013/08/how-muslims-did-not-invent-algebra/

"In Renaissance Europe, he [al-Khwarizmi] was considered the original inventor of algebra, although it is now known that his work is based on older Indian or Greek sources.

There is archaeological evidence that the roots of algebra date back to the ancient Babylonians, and were then developed in Egypt and Greece. The Chinese and especially the Indians also advanced algebra and wrote important works on the subject."

I wouldn't trust what some liberal professors pushes. A Muslim took some one else's work, passed it off as his own.

So please explain how Muslims invented algebra.

The roots of algebra are Greek. But it's development into workable equations, particularly quadratic equations, is most definitely (and mostly pre-Muslim) Arabic.

They are not called 'Arabic numbers' for no reason. Try doing anything remotely like algebra with Roman numerals - you can't.

Islamists such as Sayyid Qutb argue that since "Islam appointed" Muslims "as representatives of God and made them responsible for learning all the sciences," science cannot but prosper in a society of true Muslims. Many "classical and modern agree that the Qur'an condones, even encourages the acquisition of science and scientific knowledge, and urges humans to reflect on the natural phenomena as signs of God's creation." Some scientific instruments produced in classical times in the Islamic world were inscribed with Qur'anic citations. Many Muslims agree that doing science is an act of religious merit, even a collective duty of the Muslim community.

Tell that to your zionist overlords who deliberately created these organization groups to divide the middle east using their 'divide and conquer' technique. If you think ISIS and these other groups are a representation of Islam then you need to turn your television off, or the very least stop watching Fox News.

The Quran also tells them to kill and humiliate nonbelievers.

It's misleading when you say that we created Isis. Isis already existed. We just created an opportunity for them to take power when we pulled out of Iraq. We didn't literally just invent Isis. Isis is a real group with real believe they really believe what they're doing. We just gave them an opportunity to take power. So saying we created Isis is making it sound like we invented them and it's not even a real thing. These guys are not paid actors. They believe in what they are doing.

So does the Bible.

Quite a contradicting paragraph. I don't know what your stance is.

Changing the subject.
Are you arguing that Islam and Christianity (along with Judaism) are not under the umbrella of Abrahamic religions?

Turkey shouldn't even be a NATO member. We allow the muslims to have western weapons, technology and training, F16s etc when they are the enemy, always have been, always will.. We're training Iraqis in the US to fly and operate F16s.

Christianity and Islam have nothing in common. And actually Judaism and the old testament and Christanity while being much more related to each than islam have little in common. Muslims believe Jesus is a minor prophet. It's fundamental in Christianity to believe that Jesus was god incarnate. Islam therefore is a false "religion" not even getting into the nuts and bolts of islam being all about force and violence, and they might as well be devil worshipers. Muslims are not only essentially non-believers, as an atheist or agnostic, but false believers which is the worst thing in Christian doctrine.

Here is a great article about ISIS that I posted a few months ago when it came out:
http://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2015/03/what-isis-really-wants/384980/

US ...want ISIS to create its new state that will divide Syria and Iraq to 3 countries so Israel will be safer.

That may be true, but if so it reflects a poor understanding of ISIS. As a caliphate, they refuse to recognize any political borders. Any other rebel group, if you made the offer to stake off some land, give it to them, and leave them alone, they would eagerly accept it. But whatever we gave ISIS would never be enough; they would always be in constant war with Iraq (US) and Syria (Russia), and whoever else they could get to. That's the directive of the end times prophecy that they follow.

That's why Islam is the real issue.

That Atlantic article makes the very blunt, uncomfortable point that ISIS follows the Koran more closely word-for-word than any other Islamic people.

The real issue is allowing muslims into western countries. We didn't have problems until we allowed muslims in at great numbers back in the 90's. Non-westerners immigrating into western countries is the problem.
