I just got back from 3 months in Manila. There's a dentists office every 100m along most of the larger streets, guys. There's many dental colleges, too. there are dating sites (not recommended to be used until you are THERE) which specify the line of work that she's in. Once the gals see that you're "on -site", so to speak and a US citizen, you'll get buried in dates. Dentists there make 10k per year. Here, they make 150k per year. She probably can't pass the US dental exam for a year or more after she's here, but she can hire on right away at $30 an hour as a "dental hygienist". Put your property into a Nevada corporation beforehand, of course. Assuming that you have any, that is, or that you acquire some later. Do not count upon this lasting more than 5 years, guys. But hey, that can mean 150k, untaxed in your pocket. Repeat as needed/desired.

I"ve never said one word about lasers, nor surplus. nor slavery. Slavery is unwilling servitude, and I"ve never "sold" nor attempted to sell, anything hear. So you are quite fos.

After I saw the movie "Wolf of Wall Street" I looked up that guy Belfort (sp?) on Wiki.

He was always about money. One summer he and some buddies made 10K selling shave ice on the beach. A pure salesman. He enrolled in Dental school. The first day the professor said, "The dental boom is over. You'll never get rich being a dentist."

He left immediately after that, and got a job on Wall Street.

January was my first visit to Phills, but I started selling phills girls contact info 20 years ago, before the Net existed. I was getting $2 per name, or 3 for $6. I made a fair amount of money with that hustle.

Nevada corporation, any corporation, LLC, trust, overseas bank, whatever is not going to save you from the US domestic bench and bar. Anything with a deed, title, shares, membership interests, or number attached to it is not in any way safe. They -will- find it, and they will seize it.

Cash, however, is king. If you insist on the phenomenal blunder of marriage in the US, to an Asian, Brazilian, Icelander or homegrown, the most likely way to protect assets is the good old fashioned hidey hole full of cash.

you're wrong about the civil bar being able to find it if you've hidden it properly with a nevada corporation.. Nevada corp lawyers pride themselves about that. Cash earns you no further money, so I'd put half of it, if I had a lot of it, that is, in bullion gold coins.

Most guys reveal their property themselves, by making calls on a phone that SHE (or her PI) knows about, using a computer that SHE knows about, or leaving paperwork lie around about the properties, where SHE can access that paperwork.

Old news in the link, but still valid today. As a business/corporate/financial lawyer trained on Wall Street and in practice 15 years who has set up many entities, I would -never- counsel a client to form an entity in a state where they have no business dealings unless they are doing it for funding appeal to financiers; in that case Delaware is almost always the way to go. I would strongly advise against forming in Nevada without significant business dealings there due to the high level of scrutiny that state's entities get from regulators and judges. It's one of the reddest flags:

there is nothing to be seen by any regulatory agency, that's the point. :) Regarding YOU, at least. That's the entire point of the Nevada corporation, ownership is HIDDEN (if you want it to be). "piercing the veil' of incorporation is very hard to do in Nevada. That's those lawyer's bread and butter. If it became known that they let their clients be known, that would be the end of their biz.
