Ditched a HB

So I've just moved to a new town and started working with this girl. Easily the hottest chick I've ever 'dated'.

We hang out for a few weeks, a couple times a week, but no sex. From talking with her, she is no prude and this seems to be out of her norm. She keeps referring to "all good things come with time" and "if this was a one night stand it would be one thing" etc. So a few days ago I say if she wants to date formally I'd be down. She gives me some line about just getting out of a relationship and she needs her independence. I get blue balled again.

I ignore her for 2 days and then she ends up calling me and we go on a date to a comedy club. Literally the entire time she's texting some dude this memo long texts. I see the name and its some jackass she told me she was ****ing a few months ago. I'd seen her texting this guy a bunch throughout the other weeks and wasn't really bothered until now. I figure the guy is getting balls deep, while I'm serving some unknown role.

When the show ends she picks up her phone again and starts hammering away a text to this guy again. I tell her I have to go to the bathroom, and just fawking leave.

I heard nothing from her / sent her nothing. One of her friends texted my buddy that she knows and was like 'John was super rude to Melissa!'.

Too extreme? Too much of a **** move? I'm usually a nicer guy than this but dammit do I feel vindicated.

That wasn't too extreme. It was just right.

She knew you wanted something from her, and she was more than happy to continue wasting your time.

Next time, invite her camping and then leave her in the middle of the forest.

Man how times have changed. Call me an old git, but when I was younger and used to date young women, this would be out of the question point blank.

Sounds like women have started taking the proverbial because we let them. They need to learn that they can't act like this.

If I'm on a date with a woman and she does this, then I wouldn't throw a hissy fit but sure as f*ck I wouldn't call them for another date. Or buy them another drink or anything. That would be the privileges stopped there and then.

I would finish the date politely, not kiss them, not anything. And then put them down as a rude c*nt and not bother with them again.

So yeah not too extreme. She needs to know she's a p*ss taker and not worth your time.

how many of these "dates" did you pay for?

what did she ever tell you about "that other guy"....the one she was texting. 9 times out of 10 a woman will reveal her situation with another guy without you having to ask any questions about it. (example: oh that guy was a jerk and treated me so badly. he constantly texts me now and won't leave me alone)

why is her friend texting your friend? what did your friend reply with? hopefully if he was any kind of friend he would have told her friend exactly why you left and that you were tired of the crap she was doing.

We went out probably about 5-6 times on 'dates'. I paid for 1. Def not this last one. We've just hung out probably closer to 20 times.

He played it cool. The whole, I don't know what happened or care route.hopefully if he was any kind of friend he would have told her friend exactly why you left and that you were tired of the crap she was doing.

The fact that she hasn't called is pretty telling. I'm just gonna ignore her and be very civil and act like nothing ever happened at work. Girl got her hooks in, though, and I could def feel oneitis coming on. Super hot. Fun to be around for the most part.

You're probably right. I have another date with a new girl tonight, so all is not lost. I'm of the theory, "When your dog dies, get a new dog". Haha.

Its quite obvious she wasnt sexually attracted to you and was using you for her non sexual entertainment.

You made a play for her and you lost. Happens to the best of us. No big deal.

Now how do I handle it when I see her at work? That's not going away.

Also this is the first chick I've ever met that wasn't in it for sex / paying for things, but just someone to make out with / sleep with.

In addition, It's one of my rules to not ask a chick to date, let them do that. When you break rules you lose. Her best friend had told me she was saying she really wanted a relationship. I was working on bad intelligence haha.

Got a new date tonight. When you're dog dies, get a new one.

when you see her ignore her. pruposely look the other way when you see her or shes looking at you. if she speaks to you give a one word answer and walk off. if she calls your momma a wh0re just sorta smile and say something to the effect of "thats nice". ignore the b1tch. act like you dont even know her name, never met her in your life.

Man, girls are so fickle these days. The one I was semi-hooking up with this summer was pretty addicted to her Droid phone...lots of guys were always texting her, trying to get her to hang out, etc. - this DOES sound like a red flag, but sadly I think this is the norm with most girls that are moderately attractive and up.

Anyways, I would always grab her phone like "come on, I drove XX minutes to see you, and this is what you do?" and she would apologize and let me keep it. During that time it would be blowing up with desperate chumps...sometimes this chick would even tell me to mess with them on purpose. But if I gave her the phone back, she would go right back to texting these lame losers. At least a couple of them were exes, and she'd be like "well we're still really good friends, blah blah blah"

Long story short our fling didn't work out, and I think she's moved on to banging one of those guys. Oh well.
