Ehh sounds like more simpering New Age (Old School Platonism) half-baked philosophy of using emotional indulgence as an excuse for weakness.

Get it straight, guys: Aristotle is for men, Plato for women.

@Danel, exactly. It's also about authenticity and connection, something I've discussed at length here.

@Julius, I fail to see the "emotional indulgence" in having compassion and believing that you are worthy of happiness. Seems pretty fundamental to being a complete human being to me. *shrugs*

It's also worth noting that this is not philosophy AT ALL. This woman's findings are corroborated by years of statistical studies - pure number-crunching, which you so casually dismiss as "new age".
