Now, based on your confusion as well as asking here what happened, and add into the matter that you spoke to your friends about it, I am going to guess that she is the one that ended it and wanted to move on.

My advice is to find more girls and not even bother replying the next time this girl sends you a validation seeking text.

- I dumped her but it was really one of those things that it was going to happen regardless. If i didnt do it, she probably would have. We basically ended things because we were drifting apart and I was moving away for work. im back now.
- the text messaging was ended by her I believe. The context was basically the day after the NYE part she was asking how my night ended and I told her, then she came back and said what she did following day and I think I replied with a joke and that was it.
- Her circumstance prevented her hanging out that night. Her friend that she came with was throwing up and ended up having to go home with her.
- She couldnt play softball last night because of work, atleast thats what she texted.

I am dating someone right now, I am just not into this girl fully, kind of a temp thing. I would rather be with the girl I mentioning but Im not putting my life on hold for her which is why Im dating this new girl.

Maybe it might be a good idea to put up some pictures of me and this girl im dating on facebook so the other girl can see that I am dating another girl.

I understand your position. But what can you do other than control your own reality? No need to put pictures on facebook. Create some mystery. Let her wonder if you are single or not. It makes the story interesting.

The only way you can "win" is to move on.

Putting pictures on facebook makes you sound weak and needy. Just live your life. If you're happy, if you're successful, it'll show. She'll hear about it.

There's no need to play games like a woman. That's no way for a man to live his life.

Your post sums up the problem 90% of the guys here have with women.

Do not be too easy. If you are too easy to get, she will not want you. If you are too easy to keep, she will lose interest in you. If you are too easy to control, she will not respect you.

If that is true why did you allow her to spark your interest all over again ? Dry spell ?

Once again we read about a guy who was so easily drawn back into an ex's game by reacting to her gushing and giggles as if they were genuine expressions of interest..
PUMPIT, you have been the willing victim of one of the oldest traps in girl world.
Her "friendly" manner was a snare to capture your interest and set you up for the rejection that she had been planning from the day after you dumped her.. Old g/fs who have been dumped are always on a mission of revenge.
IF they contact you after a few months or years it always points to the same agenda - a big 'get even' is in progress.
They NEVER want a second chance, or an opportunity to re-establish the relationship, they want to HURT you for hurting them and they will wait years to pull the trigger.

Her rejection of you was ultimately executed in her cold attitude after she knew that your interest in her was renewed .
She dumped you (in her mind at least ) subtly by creating confusion in you about her intentions.
Indeed, she was so successful in bewildering you that you felt the need to make two threads about the situation.

Live and learn.
