And suffice to say, I'm disappointed. It's a mere 5.5 ". Will this harm my potential with the ladies? Can they Tell without ever seeing you naked, if you're well developed or not? Women aren't going to know you have a tiny penis until you whip it out during sex. Unless you walk around naked in public, or if you drive a huge truck or something. Your small **** isn't going to stop you from getting women. You might have trouble fvcking them more than once though.

Are you sure you're measuring correctly ? You should be pushing the ruler all the way down to the pubic bone. This gives you a base pressed enlarged length. usually you can pick up 3/4 of an inch more here, which will give u around 6.25 or so and make u dead on at average.

Anyway, it won't hurt you with all women, but it will hurt you with some. I'm in your boat size-wise (though I make up for it "a little" by being 5.5 around too) and I've lost a second or third go at it because of my size.

You said you are 5.5 inches but you never mentioned anything about your girth...or whether your penis has a curve or not. Not all women are size queens, some prefer girth or some like a penis with a particular curve in it. For the record, mine is around the same length as yours, but it curves slightly to the right. I disagree with that. When you **** a girl, the only part of your **** that she feels is the non base pressed part. So you're "cheating" by measuring that way.

Yeah. I'm just saying that you shouldn't actually push the ruler into your body when you measure. This can add a significant amount to the measurement, but it's cheating because that is not "functional" penis length.

It really has. There are numerous urological studies showing that 6.0" is the mean with about .5" standard deviation each way.

It depends on how you are measuring. If you are measuring from the top side down to the tip you will get one measurement. But if you measure from the underside where your d*ck meets your scrotum up to the tip, it will be about an inch longer. 5.5 is pretty normal anyway, and I think the erection is longer when you are actually banging a girl than it is when just looking at it on your own because the more aroused you are, the more blood flushes in. You also can't forget that girth is more important than length. It's only about 5-6 inches until you're tapping her cervix anyway, so why do you need an 8 incher to feel good about yourself? Really.

I'm the one who's insecure because I'm honest with myself? I think you're the insecure one because you're artificially inflating your measurement. You remind me of the guys who say they can squat 500 lbs, and when you see them in the gym "squatting" they're really doing a quarter squat.

The "correct" way to measure? I didn't realize there was an official agency that determines the standard measurement technique :crackup: The entire point of measuring your penis is to see how you compare to other guys when it comes to sex. IMO, the best way to measure for this purpose is to get an erection, stand up and move your penis so it is parallel to the floor. Then place the ruler on the top of your penis, where it connects to your body (don't press it into your stomach, the girl doesn't even feel that part so you're just stroking your ego), and measure to the tip. Measuring this way, I am 6.25" long. If I press the ruler into my stomach, I am well over 7". I wish the girl actually felt 7" instead of 6.25", but let's be honest with ourselves here.

I measured my **** from base to tip and it stands at around 6.2, so I am not much bigger, but I find my **** is a different size and girth depending on how horny I am with a woman. Its either all in my mind, or the my body is just demented beyond belief.

Therefore, when this original poster complains that he's only 5.5 inches, he's most likely comparing that 5.5 to the average which is about 6 inches. My point is that he's most likely measuring wrong. If you measure correctly, he'll be about 6 or 6.25. Obviously all 6.25 inches won't go in to her, but who cares. The point of this is to give the OP facts that he is indeed not 'small' but average.

Apparently the correct way to measure a penis is to have it erect, then hold it parallel to the floor while standing tall, and measure it till the bone. I don’t know if everybody does it like that, but that’s how they do it in medical studies.

Well, my penis size is about the same size as the OP and I never EVER had a girl comment about it, stopped talking to me after she saw it, or any sort of thing like that. Like it wasn’t even her concern. My GF doesn’t even want to do certain positions because it goes into deep and it hurts her. So I don’t know why it should be much larger. Same goes with other girls.
