So you guys who have seen my post know how I feel about women at work. I went through a false sexual harrasment charge that nearly cost me my job and put a stain on my professional reputation. I was cleared (hell I didn't even work the same shift and the bytch wanted my job), but still I had people looking at me sideways which I did not like. That being said, I usually pick up an extra job around the holidays for presents and extra money ( I don't believe in putting christmas on credit cards).

My current part time is full women. And the company policy states that they do not mind co workers dating, they only ask that you don't harrass someone, that no means no, and that the person being harrassed needs to ask the harrassee to stop and give them a verbal warning before bringing it to management. Basically they don't care.

So my coworker who I knew from working with the TV station she used to work at, asked me to ask her out sometime last night. Looks like I'm going to start dating a coworker. :p

If this was my full time job, directly related to my career. I'd pass on it. I cannot loose my job over some poontang. But since its my part time which I will only keep for a few more months, I'll risk it.

Same here, I work part time at a movie theatre with 17-18 year old girls (I'm 19) and it's some good fun for me.

Yah. I used to be you after I was burned. Check my post history. The thing is...I'm a grown man. We are in an environment where it's allowed as long as it doesn't spill over into our work. I know I have no problems controlling myself, and she's a decent enough girl. And the kicker...this job is just for extra money for christmas and I got christmas in the bag. Now I'm just hanging on to it to buy me a few extra things I want.

I say if you care about your job and your career follow your advice to the letter. But for a side job or a high school type job...the rules can be relaxed, if you have enough game to handle yourself.

I totally agree with backbreaker on this one, especially when you went thru that hell with the harrassment from that other chick (personally I'd stay away from dating in general for a while if you'd ask me)

HOWEVER, IF YOU MUST... since this is only a part-time temp job that you're gonna keep for not too long, this would be the only exception i'd give you....

PLEASE, BE CAREFUL MAN....

Eh, if it's a temp job in a field not related to your main career then who cares? I just worry about poisoning my professional network but if that's not possible then screw it.

If it's with a quality woman then I don't see a problem. Quality women won't react badly if everything doesn't work it. It's best to take your time and see what sort of personality the woman has.

I'm taking my time with this one. Gonna spin some plates on the side while I see how this develops.

I think women that make false accusations about sexual harrasment or sexual assult should be up for the sentance otherwise perpetrated

I've dated two girls who worked at the same place as me, I haven't got a problem with it. I am after a third.
