Movies can be a great learning experience. It allows you to see how a specific character communicates with his/her surroundings. Even though the characters in movies might be exaggerated, the exaggeration allows you to see what is in other people's minds, and expand your horizon of thinking.

Brother KontrollerX, Those are some of the best films ever!

Lest we forget Blade Runner and Aliens.

Little Children is an absolute joy to watch. The blunt humanity is overwhelming. Definitely one of my top 10 films. The fact that you mentioned it boosted you up the ranks.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

I was honestly surprised at how good it was Karma.

I thought Little Children was going to be garbage but I watched it last night and think that they short changed it.

Whoever awards star ratings could of easily gotten away with giving it 4 as opposed to 3 since in my view it was just that damn good.

I'm with you on Aliens as well since I loved that series so much I bought the big DVD box set of it (Quadrilogy I think its called) though admittadly the first two films are the best.

Alien is actually my pick for best of series but people's love of action often makes them pick the second film over the first. The first is the best in my opinion because of the brilliant documentary feel of it all, the haunted house atmosphere, the mysterious derelict space craft and static imaging upon approach of it and well I could go on and on lol just a great great film.

Haven't seen Blade Runner or well maybe I have but only a part of it.

Another movie I'll let you all know is great is The Hitcher and I'm talking about the first one starring Rutger Hauer. Sean Bean is a damned good actor and one of my favorites because he was awesome as Boromir in LOTR's but the remake of the Hitcher movie starring him felt like a garbage rendition coughed up by MTV. Pure lamesauce that one.

Anyway the Hitcher is a movie about a suicidal sociopath. It seems his boredom has gotten the better of him and now he wants to die. A bit unrealistic some of his escape attempts near the end of the film but other than that it shows very realistically what a full blown ASPD maniac is capable of when they decide to throw the rule book and their life out completely.

Watched most of that on TV the other day. It was like reading about half the posts on this forum.

Carla Jean Moss: Big talk.

3:10 to Yuma (2007)

- I have not seen the old one so I'm not suggesting the newer one is better. Russell Crowe and Christian Bale portray near-perfect examples of a real man. Caveat (I consider it Gold): Only 5 minutes of the movie is devoted to "seducing" women.

Batman Begins

- Batman is my favorite superhero of all time. Christian Bale's Batman outshines Clooney/West Batman. I think the movie is all about conquering your inner fears. In the process, Bruce Wayne discovers that his inner fears are his greatest personal strengths.

Gangs of New York

- At first, I was skeptical about a movie based in 1850s New York. After watching it, I realized it's a great story about becoming a real man. Leonardo DiCaprio's journey into great manhood, Daniel Day Lewis' manly (although unjust) stronghold on everyone from politicians to priest, betrayal of DiCaprio's character by his friend....over a girl...are just few good reasons for anyone to watch this movie. Plus Martin Scorsece directed it, so you know it's good.

Thank You For Smoking

- Aaron Eckhart's couple of lines summarize the movie:

"Michael Jordan plays ball. Charles Manson kills people. I talk. Everyone has a talent."

"You know that guy that can get any girl? I'm him...on crack."

"I don't have an MD or a law degree, but I have a bachelor's in kicking ass and taking names."

Pulp Fiction

- I can't believe nobody mentioned this. Samuel Jackson is perfect. Absolutely flawless in this movie.

Ocean's Eleven & Thirteen

- Although Twelve wasn't bad, but Eleven/Thirteen are much better. All star cast. What else can we ask for?

Probably a bunch more but that should do.

best one ive seen in a while..... "Into The Wild". highly recommended.
same day i went out and bought the book and read the whole thing. amazing story. the whole adventure way of living life really hit home with me and i couldn't stop thinking about it for days. the girl i went to see it with, after watching it, started rabbiting on about how she's gonna get her hair died this and that colour and i was like, did we just watch the same movie? she had no idea. so i ditched her and went and got the book. fantastic book!! it almost feels like you are on the adventure yourself. and it gets you thikning. my opinion on the whole thing i keep to myself but for sure i like his philosophies.

"my days were more fun when i was penniless"

"So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more dangerous to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man’s living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greather joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun."
