Should I wear this for halloween?

I love Halloween, I love dressing up, girls are all slutted out etc. Anyways, I normally go for a "funny" costume. This year I was considering a spartan from 300. The way I see it if you are going to be a spartan you have to be in one of two groups:

1. Morbidly obese, because come one, the irony would be hilarious.

2. In ridiculous good shape. Fully ripped, 6 pack, etc.

The thing is I am far from 1, but not near 2.

I don't have the confidence in my self to decide so I will....ask an internet message board...do you guys think I can pull it off?

I am 5'7, ~153, <10%BF, you can kinda see the abs but not quite there, I feel so silly even asking this but again I think I have self image issues.

However, the other factor was to get extremly drunk at which point I probably wont care how I look. The other plan was to wear a random costume a few nights before the big party on Saturday and kinda scout out how all the other spartans look.

lol. love the poses. by the way, who is this REALLY?! Lol. And yes, you have a nice bod, you can definately pull off the spartan look.

The spartan suit fits you well, and there's your chance of "innocently" showing off your body

I have an opposite party to go to for halloween.

My girlfriend is going as me.
I am going in my best female friend's old cheerleader's outfit. Suprisingly it fits me better than it fits her. I guess I got the cheerleader's form with a six pack

I totally agree that is the ideal mindset and I often carry that but not quite there completely. Like I said, I think I have self image issues (admittance is the first step right...or is it denial?) When I was younger/growing up I would get crap for being scrawny/short so my insecurities are there, thus thats why I asked, I would hate to go, see 300 other Spartans and the others are completely cut up.

My other costume is Michael Vick one, I could care less about offending people or being PC (to a certain degree) so I might wear that to a few smaller parties before deciding ont he Spartan for the big one.
