My confidence took a bit of a knocking recently, here’s how I got it back to delusional proportions……
Get a confident hypnosis CD to listen to, or download something, listen to it every day for a month
When you say affirmations, say them like its a matter of fact in your own voice as if you were talking to someone you know (I used to do them robotically and they didn't work)
Do lots things that scare you a little
Throw yourself in as many social situations as possible, it is a bit draining at first, but you soon get used to it
Don't smoke or drink too much caffeine, these make me feel nervous
Look into Emotional freedom technique, www.emofree.com, to remove negative thoughts
Ask yourself, what does a confident person feel like? what would a confident person do? Think of someone that is confident or how you want to be, imagine being them for a moment and feel how they would feel, and do what they would do.
Remember, people are too busy caring what you think of them to be thinking about you, so you shouldn’t care what they think
Get in a good mood (sleep, exercise, eat well etc...). Smiling and laughing releases endorphins even if its forced making you feel happy, putting you in a great mood. I also find singing loudly (even though I’m Sh!t!) puts me in a good mood and makes me feel more confident.
Walk tall and talk LOUD
Do all these at once and I’m sure you will be confident to really ridiculous levels in no time
