I don't know if this belongs in tips or the excercise forum. Whatev, forgive me, for I am human.

OK, everyone here knows that killer abs and 22inch biceps don't hurt. But that's not where excercise stops in the realm of self improvement.

I have noticed something. I had a friend who was a tottal wuss bag with the ladies. And I do mean a friend. He's not into seduction like me, but still lately I have seen a step up in his game. So I asked him what he was doing differently.

"New hair?"
NO
"New clothes?"
NO
"By any chance do you know a guy name David Deangelo?"
WHO?!?!
"Nevermind."

So what was so different? What made him go from not having a girl notice him to having girls ask him out? Well, I wouldn't put all my money on the answer but I do know it's a big factor in his game. The difference is he works out regularly now. And this dude was a panzy before that. Benchin' 100 and struggling when he started out. He took up wrestling. And what does throwing around sweaty guys in tights teach us about women? Nothin, really. But on to my point. I investigated the effects of excercise in the arena's of physical, mental, and emotional health. I was quite pleased with the information I recieved and am more compelled to work out more then ever before.

ONWARD!!

How working out can improve your abilities with the ladies:

Exercise may improve mental health by helping the brain cope better with stress, according to research into the effect of exercise on neurochemicals involved in the body's stress response. Translation --> You feelin' stressed around an HB? Start working out more to improve how you handle stress.

The experts have looked into what goes on in the brain. Exercise causes an immediate rush of endorphins, brain chemicals that reduce pain and induce a feeling of euphoria. But since the effect of endorphins is only temporary after exercise, and exercise's positive psychological effect seems to be ongoing, researchers are now investigating the role of other neurochemicals as well. They've found that exercise seems to increase the availability of norepinephrine, a chemical thought to play a role in regulating stress response, and serotonin, a "feel good" chemical that improves mood. It is these very neurochemicals that are enhanced by many of today's antidepressant medications. Translation --> Your 'aware state' or 'sarge state' whatever, will be enhanced since you will be in a progressively better mood, and will have to do less to keep it there. Makeing pick up a lot funner and easier.

It increases testosterone. Both the lack of physical activity and excessive physical activity (over training) will result in decreased levels of testosterone. Exercise effects testosterone directly by stimulating the pituitary gland and the testes and it probably also raises levels by slowing down the normal breakdown of testosterone. Translation --> Testosterone is believed to be directly related to male confidence, energy levels, mental quickness, and couragousness. Nuff' said.

And I can't find the direct qoute but excercise also helps with anxiety, and being inactive. So your more likely to actually go out and not read all day. So hit the weights.

All this PLUS Killer abs? How can I go wrong?

I've also noticed, for what it's worth, that the more I work out the greater my mental state tends to be. In correlation, if I don't work out, I'm more likely to feel like a blob of flesh and don't really want to go out. Taking it further, I've also noticed that what I do in the gym effects what I do in field. If I spend all day just 'thinking' about working out, then I'll probably spend all day 'thinking' seduction, and not doing it. Likewise, if I quit during a workout I'm more likely to sarge half @ss. And if I totally murder the weights, I tend to perform at my best in field. It just kinda shows what kind of person you are, ya know? I find that wierd, but true. But really, how many keyboard jockies workout to a good extent? And if you are a KJ you might want to start workin out. It's not the holy grail or anything but it will make it easier to get up and go sargin.

So, how can you say no to being less stressed, having a better aware state, being more confident, energetic, being mentally quicker, courageous, and more active? Oh, yeah, and a 54' chest dosen't hurt. It's great if you're already workin out. And it's better news if you aren't. For now you have all sorts of ways to improve. And one last thing, please don't go to the gym hell bent on perfecting your ego. You carry that around with you when out in the real world. And that's not cool!!! There's a lot better reasons to go to the gym. Hope it helps

Good post.

I am always one for over training, I know the effects it has but i sometimes get carried away.

You can notice the effects definately the next day after overtraining. Your mood and sex drive are affected.

All your testosterone is being used to feed your muscles, you will produce more, but it will be going to all those muscles you've been working.

I find when I do full body work outs this happens, i.e working every muscle in one session, any body else find this?
