Was this a Sh!t test or no?

She texted me yesterday asking me when I am available because she left a pair of pants at my apartment from when we fu*ked 2 weeks ago, and she needs to start mailing boxes back home, so she wanted to know when she could come get them.

I told her she could get them whenever she wants. She lives literally right next door. A few hours later she texts me saying she's at my door. So I open up and give her the pants. Exchange conversation very briefly, probably a minute or so. Then I say "see ya" and we part ways.

She had friends over so I don't think she wasn't trying to hang out, but she did kinda pause at the door and I'm the one who closed the conversation. I wasn't trying to pursue anything yesterday anyway. Both our apartments were full, I didn't want to see her, I already committed going till at least Thursday until reaching out to her by being scarce.

The thing is, she's not going out of state for another 2-3 weeks, so it seems weird to me she messaged me asking for her pants back, like it's a big sense of urgency or something. She also seemed friendly and enthused in the texts, but that's just in her nature.

My question is...

A) Do you think her sending that was just an excuse to contact me? AKA her hamster was spinning and she caved.
B) Or is it just a SH!T test to see how I react?
C) Or is it her trying to get me hooked again so she feels validated in going cold/NC as of lately?
D) Or is it that she literally just wanted her pants back?

I know she's done stuff like this in the past like "What time does your class end, I need a ride to the phone store to get it fixed" and "Hey do you know the campus policy for...(proceed to say something irrelevant)" almost like an excuse to text without being needy. Of course whenever I oblige for a favor, or chase her, her interest decreases without fail. That's why I know trying to escalate would have backfired anyway.

So I plan to go NC another day and then possibly hit her up tomorrow night, which was my original plan in the first place. Just trying to understand her motives better so I can use it to my advantage.

Nah she definitely wanted more than the pants dude. I had a chick who was the same way. She starts losing interest, you go ghost, her hamster starts spinning again, she throws you hook line and sinker hoping you'll take the bait.

She was probably hoping you asked her to hang out, only so she could reject you and give her that ego boost and reassurance that she did the right thing by going cold to begin with. Good on you for not caving in.

My advice: make that hamster spin round and round. Play that bi*ch like a fukin merry to round. Round and round we go. I'm talking ring around the Rosie up in this bi*ch I don't play no games son. If you wanna hit her up give this bi*ch one last chance and if she flakes then that's her loss you still walk away with your pride intact and your head held high.
