Wanted to know what you guys think about the importance of status.

If you're a guy and you aren't doing well with women, does a bump in status help your game?

If you don't have status currently, how do you go about getting that status?

Yes status is important. If you lump it in with power I would say it is the most important trait. Powerful men get the most women; more than good looking guys, rich guys, etc.

You just don't stop do you?

Your status is irrelevant. You hear about "powerful, rich, handsome men" whining daily about how they cannot get dames.

AFC is AFC regardless if you are a burger flipper or a CEO in a suit. The same way a loser can get laid seven days a week, a "winner" can be on a ten year dry spell.

Funny how this links to seeking happiness externally. Do you think status will get you laid? Will it make you happier? It won't.

Take George Sodini for example, he had ample cash, wasn't terrible ugly, he was a systems analyst for a law firm. Mother****er still couldn't get laid.

The most famous man on the planet was a guy who didn't have two pennies to rub together and was the leader of a cult now better known as the largest religous movement on the planet aka Christianity.

Status is a 'state' of mind.

I think he gets off on making thread after thread about theory details. That way he can feel like he is "part of it". Classic poseur, you'll find them in every movement.

Or it's like Iceberg says, he's a troll. Whichever is the explanation, the result is the same: He keeps spamming the forum with nonsense threads that push more important threads to page two. Time to hike over to BeDJ's thread about banning trolls and give it a thumbs up.
