Can anyone make sense of this? My ******** is VERY weak.

So I've been taking this class for about 3 months and there's an HB 7.5 or so in there. Very typical giggly type girl, maybe 18 or 19. Up until last Friday I had no contact with her at all. We never made eye contact (even though I tried a few times), and she would pretend not to see me if we passed each other in the hallway. Then on Friday, she saw me sitting in my car at the gas station as she was driving by with her 8.0 friend. She starts waving ecstatically from the passenger seat. The waving was so frantic that I didn't even see her until she started doing it. So I just kind of laughed and gave a wave of acknowledgment back. The 8 just kind of glanced over but didn't do anything to acknowledge me.

So already I'm thinking..."That was odd. Cool, but odd." Today we had class together, and I was thinking about how I would play this encounter up to try to get an In. I forgot an assignment from my car a few minutes before class, so I started walking back and see her about to walk up the stairs (a little late). She sees it's me and immediately turns her head around behind her to look at an imaginary friend and keeps walking, almost bumping into me. She whips her head around just before crashing into me, and I even had to back up a bit. I'm just like, "Class is canceled!" And she goes, "Oh are you serious??" and lifts her hand for a high-five. I just start laughing and tell her I'm joking, and she like slaps my arm and pushes me and is just like, "OMG you're such a douche (my last name)!" and keeps laughing about it and talking smack up the stairs even after I'm walking away.

I'm confused. I didn't even know she knew my name, and now she's waving to me in public...calling me by name, and even kino'ing me. WTF is this? Was she too shy to talk to me before? Did I do something to raise her IL? Is she just a friendly chick that needs to be opened up first? It seems as though I MAY have a chance at plowing this broad, but I can't really take a course of action until I figure out what her deal is...

I think he was leaving out his last name..

The line probably went "Oh my god, you're such a douche, [INSERT LAST NAME HERE]!"

Or at least I hope your last name isn't douche.

Anyway, I wouldn't think anything of what happened. Make your move and do what your supposed to do.

Lol, thanks for clarifying that. Yeah I forgot the comma.

Anyway yeah, I don't know what the move should be because I have no idea what to make of this chick. C+F? Direct? Build rapport, then go for the number? What's the best tactic in this situation? I mean, it seems she has at least SOME interest if she found out my name somehow and is going out of her way to say hi to me in public. But she's almost always with her friend or talking to other people (very social). Dunno.

I'm a WBAFC btw, so shock + awe or anything like that would NOT be my preferred approach, heh.

Ok, so it sounds like you guys agree that there's interest there. But seriously, how do I go about this? What kind of approach is best, as far as C+F, direct, neg-hitting etc.

Right now I'm just wondering how I'm going to even chat her up with her everpresent friend at her side. Yesterday was a one in a million shot since her friend was absent at school.
