I don't quite understand why American society is so unaccepting of young women marrying mature men. With all the stupid irresponsible behavior of so many young men these days, wouldn't a more mature man be the perfect choice for a young woman (so long as he is not so mature that he might not live long enough to raise the children, which is nowhere near a problem in this case)?

Or would her parents be happier if their little princess would get knocked up by some 16 y.o. - yes, that would really be a good situation for their granchildren.

I totally agree and if I may try to fill in for your loss of words:

When you’re young, age isn’t “just a number.” There are massive gaps in physical and mental development from ages 10-11, 11-12, 12-13, 14-15, 15-16, and so forth. It’s like pitting the freshman football team up against the senior football team—it’s just no competition. Of course, eventually, once we finishing our biological wirings and become a full-fledged individual, then the field opens up and all ages are fair game.

The problem is the 40-year old guy is taking advantage of the 16-year old girl’s naïvety. The driving force behind his thinking was not “true love” but because he wants to pound the püssy and meanwhile this girl naively thinks “true love”, because that’s the way these things always work. When it comes to these massive age gaps with a minor, there are two and only two types of guys: evil, predatory guys who just want the piece of ass, and guys with severe maturity problems who cannot deal with women closer—I said closer, not necessarily close—to their age. In fact, I once had a boss who was 40-years old and married to an 18-year old girl, and in retrospect it wasn’t too surprising he was fired and convicted of embezzlement. (And no, anyone, I don’t base my opinion on just that one guy.)

agreed. i think the big issue is that between 16 - 20 is when someone really starts to figure their life out. by no means are they 'mature' by 20, but they have moved from being a child to being a novice adult.

moreover, in our society, its just not natural. there are no social circumstances that promote a 40 year old with a 16 year old.

so for such a thing to occur it screams that something inappropriate has already gone on.

99.9% probability that he slowly gained her trust, slowly got her emotionally dependent on him, and then slowly turned things sexual. when a 40 year old does that to a 16 year old, its f*cked up.

Windy is a brilliant woman. She is not being taken advantage of by some "dirty old man." If their marriage ends in divorce or death she'll win either way: alimony, child support, his assets, his pension, etc. etc. When their relaitonship does end she'll still be young enough to get herself a new man and repeat the cycle. The truth is Windy is getting what most women really want: a family in an economically stable environement. Why would a woman want to "set the world on fire" with her own deeds when she can accomplish much the same thing AND have a family by having the men in her life do it for her?

Women are the real rulers of the world, men just flatter their fragile egos by believing otherwise...

Guys, how can you possibly rationalize this?

First of all, this is the United States, we live in a Western culture and it is illegal to friggin' sex up a 16-yr-old if you're 18 or 40.

I think the dude is pathetic. The maturity level of a 16-yr-old girl is wildly debateable...I don't believe it's there. Maybe some girls are more mature than others, but I don't see a 16-yr-old girl having anything that would interest me in the way of life experiences and maturity. Hell, I know some girls in their mid-20's and even then their maturity is anything but complete.

Young girls are tight, toned and they offer that hotness that vanishes quickly with age, but they are boring if you have any self-respect.

Don't forget, behind your adulation of the pedo-coach, he hooked up with the girl when she was 14. Dude, that is a little girl.

Mmmm, I don't watch TV and I don't recite scripts.

I use public transportation almost daily here in L.A. and I see tons of nubile freshman every day. Some of them have better bodies than women 10 years older. Some of them are even bold flirters...so what? I value my freedom, and take it from someone who has seen life from the other side of those bars, it is precious.

I only say with such disgust simply because I myself have often looked at teenage girls and wanted to fvck them. I teach English in Japan... and there are a hell of a lot of cute high school girls. But I'd never bang any of them. Too immature and too sexually inexperienced. Not my idea of a fun time.

I prefer mid 20s-late 20s and I'm only 24. But there's something attractive about women that are more mature, sexually knowledgeable, and have a better idea of what they want in life.
