PROOF that looks mean very little.

The guy in these pictures, im sure most of you know is Justim Timberlake, yet forget his fame and wealth, forget the fact that so many women love him, forget it all and look at nothing but his physical features, he is nothing but average, he does not look especialy better then you or i, he is really just an average person, an average person that has slept with Britney Spears and Cameron Diaz.

The girls are not sleeping with him because he has money and fame, they have all the money and fame they could ever want so why do they need him?

I will tell you why in one sentance and that is that 'looking good does not make a man popular, being popular makes a man look good'

Surley you have heard of good looking guys who cant get girls, im talking about the ones that in a photo the girls are like wow! Yes there is such a thing as natural beauty but beauty is in the eye of the beholder so you can loose it all or gain it all in a girls eye.

Girls will be attracted to diffrent qualities, your vocie is extremly important, how outgoing you are etc, really its hard to describe but when you act in such a way, girls will like you. I wont pretend i have mastered it.

When a 'DJ' says all these lines, sure being able to talk is a good thing, oyu need to be abale to talk, but why does your success rate og up with the same lines as you practice? its because by practicing it you build the confidence to be that type of man!

There are games which if thye acted diffrenlty you would think are pathetic, but the way they act, they look good in oyur eyes and they attract all the girls! If you look real bad, if you are fat you are going to struggle because you wont be bale to convince the girl this is true about you, but all you need is to look normal, to dress well and once you master the 'act' girls will think you are hot.

You are not a very good judge of looks. Justin Timberlake is conservatively a 9, but if we're just talking about the general male population as a whole, he's easily a 10 talking looks alone. Though i knew this already, your link (the second one, the first wouldn't open for me) confirms it. He's in shape, has great facial symmetry, great complexion, great hair.

Clearly, you have a poor concept what average is. The average male that age already has a gut, has a receeding hairline, is overweight or obese, doesnt have facial symmetry, etc.

Justin Timberlake is a solid 9. He's tall 6'1'' (185cm), he's fit, kind of like the swimmers' bodytype (don't get brainwashed by bodybuilding fanatics who claim that women prefer muscle freaks:crackup, he has good facial features, how much more do you need?

This is why when some one comes up with "I know looks do/don't matter because...", or "I'm good looking but can't get girls..." we always need pictures to see what he's talking about.

On another forum i have been on, i remember in 1 thread loads of girls where saying usher is ugly!

His face is weird looking he's not fat or anything though he has abs.

Thats the USA for you, in the UK the typical young person (say below 30) is thin, its only once you get older that the average person is chubby.

LOL, I recall reading fairly recently that the UK and Australia are about in line with the US in terms of fatties per capita. You guys aren't exactly the healthiest people in the world, either.

And yeah, Justin Timberlake is hardly average. You don't have to be a chick or a gay guy to see that, but it's not exactly a secret that girls find him attractive.

Im talking from experince. People i know of simular age tend to be thin, i would say 80% are thin.

Well, if you think about it, Britney is also average at best and same with Cameron. They would both get REJECTED by Playboy, on looks alone. And, I literally see MANY hotter girls than them just walking through any school campus...

So, average still gets average, if you want to look at it that ways...

I agree Timberlake is better than average but I do agree with the fame part, think about ugly or old male celebs and the chicks they with. Nick Nolte ugh, I have seen him with a decent chick. D trump is another 1, chicks are into him for his fame and wealth, they cant possibly be into that look lol

Through my female friends, I learned something important that many guys don't know or won't take as fact: straight guys can not well assess the "hotness" of other guys, in other words, they can't assess the "physical value" of another guy in most girls' eyes. Remember this, it's gonna serve you well.

Once I met a gorgeous HB9.5 brunette at one female friend's house party, very beautiful face, 5'10 model height with long legs, and to top it all, she's got the boobs and the azz. Damn she was hot!:woo: Plus she's the innocent/good girl type that I love.
But there's a big problem: she has a boyfriend, and he was at the party as well... When my female friend pointed him to me, I was so shocked: to me, he literally looks like sh*t. He has the artsie type of long hair, totally unshaved, dressed artsie/indie type, nothing special about his face, basically like sh*t. He's maybe 5'11, but that's about it. To me, he doesn't stand the slightest chance in a competition against me, he's way below my league.

The HB9.5 is a colleague of my female friend, she and her boyfriend left before the end of the party.

So after the party, we were sort of talking about some random things with my female friend and other friends, and the topic about the guy came up. I hinted to all the female friends that I was shocked to learn that the uber hot hottie was with a "loser" guy like this. To my biggest surprise, they all disagreed, they all thought that the guy was very handsome, and there's no discrepency of league between the two...

After that day, I stopped judging other guys' attractiveness in a categorical manner.
I also realized why in the past, some other dudes thought that it was unbelievable that I got with some hot girls. "That little piece of sh*t is only 5'8, his face has nothing special, plus he's Asian...:box:". Of course their opinion was irrelevant, only the girls' opinion counts.



That being said, there are still things us straight guys can accurately assess:

- Height. Being tall is attractive, but not freakish tall. I'd say the ideal would be around 6'.

- Being fat is very unattractive, this doesn't need any further explanation.

For the rest, we can only guess how much the guy is "worth" so to speak... But only the girls have the final word:yes:

Plus:

- James Blunt ugly? Even a straight guy like me can totally understand why many girls like him.

- Ron Jeremy? Please... He fvcked a lot of porn stars because he's got a big... you know. Keywords: fvck, porn stars. As opposed to "sleep with", "made love to", "gorgeous, classy girls". maybe i have not made this clear, but i know that looking good helps, the point i am trying to make is that a seeming average guy can certainly put him self at the social ladder by the way he talks and the way he acts.

Ok, if you mean "looks mean very little" in the same way that we can state "height means very little in basketball", then I agree with you. Let me explain what I mean.

- In basketball, you can be tall or you want, but if you don't know how to play, you suck, period. Regarding girls, height is equivalent to your looks, and your game is equivalent to... well your "game".

- To a certain extent, the lack of height can be compensated by good game skills. This is especially true at an "everyday" level, you know, when we play between friends. With HB7 and below kind of girls (just for the sake of argument), your good game/personality/attitude whatever can easily compensate the lack of good looks.

- At more professional level, you can be good all you want, if you are only 5'6, you will NOT play in a national team. Simple as that. With HB9 and plus, 99.9% of the guys who don't have the looks will fail. The best they can get is maybe a lucky ONS on one day when the HB is emotionally unstable. Don't even dream of a sincere LTR with a HB9 or HB10. They want guys who have both good personality and good looks.

- Most likely, the professional players will be taller than the average humans. Because the edge they have makes them more predisposed to excel in this sport. We are all humans, naturally we all tend to appreciate doing things that we excel at doing, and in return it only makes us even better. The same way, in average, the majority of the guys who are confident/social/funny(not equivalent to goofy) etc... are those who have the looks. So please stop the ugly guy with confidence exception that is always used as a generality here.

We all know and accept that most professional basketball players have both the height and the skills. So why can't we all just accept the fact that most guys who go out with HB10s have both the good looks and good personailty to back it up. What is so difficult to accept?
