Exams have finished, summer holidays are fast approaching, and I feel it's time to begin improving myself rather than wasting time.
To this end I intend to:
Attempt the DJ Bootcamp starting today, Monday 18 June, and to try an keep up with the other people doing it at the same time such as Blue Dude, badboy2007 and Dark Haired Alpha. However I do have school and university visits to organise so it's not going to be easy.
STOP VISITING SOSUAVE ~ this site is addictive, I'll only visit it when I have something to report on the bootcamp

Longer Term Goals are to:
Get fitter, better looking etc by going to the gymn
Improve social skills and confidence in all ways
Become a better person
and...I definately do not want to leave school a virgin, that gives me just about a year,

My current status is:
Age ~ 16
In penultimate year of school
In terms of looks, fairly short, but I think not bad looking, as I play a fair bit of sport :), quite athletic but could do with a bit (lot) more muscle.
In terms of social position ~ Virgin (or else I wouldn't be here), Haven't really had a proper girlfriend, kissed/ made out with a few (Hot) girls, mostly at drunken parties though, go to a boys school so that's gotta be a disadvantage.
In terms of life ~ Have good hobbies, kayaking, tennis, squash, looking to get into climbing, need to get into them a bit more as most of them I haven't done for a whilde due to exams and other stuff, learning to drive should help. Not part of the "in crowd" at school by any means but I do have plenty of good friends, not regarded as a loser (I hope) so much as an academic guy, I am normally fairly quiet, but in a pretty normal way, not as in a serial killer way. Looking to study medicine, I'll get the grades and work exp, and I've got a lot of other stuff, so it's looking good.

Basically I've got my self together and I'm pretty happy with life but I feel the need to improve the social side of my life. and get laid.

Well that was pretty honest, wish me luck

Elmnick, I was wondering if you and the gents from the other 2 threads starting might be interested in consolidating into 1 thread for doing bootcamp.

Week 1 Exercise 1, eye contact

I finally decided to do the first excersise today which was to "lasting one hour in length ... go about establishing eye contact" and the idea is to do this for an hour, twice seperately.

I got 19 eye contacts which I won, and probably about the same that I lost. this isn't as many as I hoped, (aiming for 50 in the two sessions) but it was drizzling abit and the shops were closed.

A couple of observations were that:
Most people walk with their heads down
Most people who do make any eye contact only do so very fleetingly
People closer to my age usually make more eyecontact

There was one opportunity which I could have seized;
walking up the road there were three girls and a guy , maybe my age, hanging out, as I walked towards themr I made strong eye contact with a pretty good looking girl, an 8ish,
she said "hey darling" in a low and joking way, it wasn't really a test but a "who is this guy walking up the street making eye contact with me", I only responded with a pathetic sounding "hi" and walked on so whether it was a test or not I failed. I guess I was a little surprised and I couldn't really come up with a comeback, I can't help but feel that many people could have got some success out of the scenario
the next excercise is to say hi or hello to 50 people but I feel I need something better to say than "hi" as however I say it it never seems right, what's the best thing to say just to acknoledge someone in a friendly way or to get into a conversation when other people acknoledge you first

not very dramatic I know, but you can't complete the bootcamp without starting at the easy stuff
