I just looked at the thread Your Plan for 2006!? ..and it's that time once again to look at our goals!

As maturing DJs, we see areas of our lives that need improvements and discipline.

We aren't AFCs who throw in the towel at the first challenge met our way.

We are DJs who constantly self-improve. :woo:

Last year I had lots of PUA/social goals -- this year I'm looking to become an expat entreprenuer.

Here's my list thus far:
01. Quit soda for good!
02. Skydiving
03. Trip to Latin America
04. Join a speech club
05. Become a better dancer
06. Take a comedy improv class
07. Take an accounting class
08. Go for Masters degree
09. Become bilingual
10. Become a more self-relient and responsible man
12. Buy/rent my own apartment/condo
13. Continue investing in the stock market
14. Gain 12lbs of muscle mass
15. Resculpt my 6pack and stay healthy
What are your goals for 2007?

Definitely some good goals listed above. The one concern I always have around this time of year is setting too many goals, making it more difficult to accomplish them. I like to keep it nice and simple. If I finish my goals by the end of the year then I'll just make some new ones. Here is what I have so far:

1) Master approaching by doing 1,000 approaches. (I'm currently working on 100 approaches for December but want to expand that by 10 fold in 2007)

2) Take dance classes
3) Learn how to snowboard

That's it. Nice and easy...we'll the 1,000 approaches will be difficult at first but I have no doubt that I can finish by the end of 07 if not much sooner.

One of the reasons I like setting numerous goals is because it is great to look back on and see what you wanted and what you achieved. Also, by pushing the envelope, it makes you step it up that much more and exceed your self-believed potential.

I've got a few choices that I'm trying to narrow down. The funny thing is what I really want to study now has nothing to do with what I studied for my undergrad. Working in the real world for 2 years provides a lot of feedback of what you like/dislike about the working environment and the industry chosen and where that particular industry is heading.

Amen! It's amazing to see how in some areas goals were far surpassed. IE. I set out to take a dancing class and meet some new faces. It turned into being my new social circle as well as taking my skills all the way to competing on a state level, all in one semester.

To strive to be the best I can be.

From girls to going to parties to whatever. I plan on having more girls this year than ever before. I plan to meet more girls from other areas more instead of the ones in my town or near by. I want to go to more parties from different towns where I don't know everyone. I want to meet a new crowd and completely live my life up.

I've done alot of that so far this year, But theres always improvement to be made

Don't always be the one putting yourself out for her. Don't always be the one putting all the effort and work into the relationship. Let her, and expect her, to treat you as well as you treat her, and to improve the quality of your life.

last year was a bit simpler since I was still in school, and I accomplished everything I wanted to for the first time. maybe this year demands more lofty goals.

1- need to pick my game back up.
2- Save money
3- continue working out and doing sports.
4- get laid
5- have fun doing all of it

What are your goals for 2007?
1) Lose 25 pounds by May 2007.

2) Earn more money. Maybe even enough to pay off the debt, and then start looking to get my own place. If this doesn't happen, I want to at least increase my income 10 times what I earned this year. And if not, I want to be able to start getting a teaching degree.

3) Meet more women. Be better about small talk and flirting. Not chickening out quite so often on approaching people.

4) WEBSITE (this will happen soon, so I can pretty much scratch it off the list already. Lol)

5) Start getting a friend to teach me guitar for practically nothing.

6) Avoid so much Soda. I cut down to once a week, but it's been creeping up more and more because of the holiday parties.

7) Be better about trusting god with stuff instead of getting so pissed off about all the constant unanswered prayers.

8) Become a lot more valuable to women. I've only got a few attractive female friends, (social proof) and they're all married. Ugh.

9) Watch my language and anger levels in the car. I'm usually really patient, but driving just stresses me out.

4) Expand my social circle even further.
5) Play Senior A club cricket.
6) Make use of my gym membership more.
7) Crack the whip on the girl who is organising my 18th.
8) Less worrying, more positive action.

Fellow Djs,
I remember that my plan for 2004, among many other points, had one: "Kiss a girl at the end of a date". Well - two years passed and during the last year I
- Kissed fifteen girls
- I was in bed with four
I also had a rather rare opportunity to have two, or even three girls all over me, at the same time. The moments like those made me glad that I'm still single :)

Although I have some teriffic memories, there are some mistakes that I want to never repeat again. And so, I pledge that:

- I will not fall for a girl that I didn't date at least four times
- I will limit talking about myself to absolute minimum
- I will never take bullsh*t from a girl again
- My goal for each date will not be kissing... it will be having fun
- I will not follow girl's emotional state - I will lead it

And so help me Pook.

Awesome pledge. All of these boil down to respecting yourself so highly that you don't allow a woman to disrespect you at all.

4 dates, great pledge. Talking about ourselves diminishes the mystery but serves a purpose of letting someone get to know us a bit better. Use it sparingly but wisely.

Good luck with yours.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
