I used Aloe moisterising cream on them, twice a day.

In the morning and at night. Try this before you buy the expensive Vitamin K creams. I've tried those before and Aloe is much better. Aloe is chock full of Vitamin K and C and tons of other nutrients.
The stuff is cheap too. I brought a 500g tub for $5 AU.

I have found though, that when I put it on in the mornings my under eyes can be a tiny bit red. So if you like, just put in on at nights after showering (when the pores are open) and I think you'll still get great results.

Please note: If you do try this, the first night put a small amount of the cream somewhere on your face (like your cheek, not undereye) to test out in case there is a reaction. This is standard with all facial creams.

Dudes, seriously, this has given me unbelievable results, and its been less than a week :)

I'm over the moon and my confidence has sky rocketed. I have had them for ages and they suck.

Let me know if you try this and if you get results. I dont know if it will work for you, but the stuff is readily available and really cheap, so give it a go if they are troubling you.

If you like I can put all the ingrediants that are in the cream I used so you can find something simular. Any Aloe cream should work though I assume.

Thanks DJ's and good luck :)

Thanks a lot guys.

Give it a try. Its worked really well for me.

Just make sure you use the creams that are nearly totally aloe. Some only have small amounts in them. I'm not sure how well those ones would work.

Good luck :)

hey junlgedude, is a temporary fix or permanent solution to the peoblem? I guess its too earl to tell - but i take it it's remporary'

Actually I have darp circles under my eyes but I kinda of like them - its like a natural makeup :) - I don't think they look bad on me, but maybe women do? Who knows , who cares! It does add color to your face but maybe it makes you look tired. I try aloe and see if what you say is true.

Hey PuertoRican Lover,

I'm not sure. It might be too early to tell, but its looking really promising.

I was checking how they looked through the various stages and I could actually see small little buds of skin popping up on the dark or damaged area.

Now its been about 5 days and theres just a whole bunch of new white skin grown over the damaged area under both eyes making it look a lot brighter. Its still not 100% yet, but it is really tons better.

I'd say that the growth would be permenant, but I'll keep applying the cream just in case.

You can find me in St. Louie
It seems to me that it can be either permanent or temporary. If you continue to apply the aloe cream, the dark circles will stay away; if you stop, on the other hand, you run the risk of them coming back.

Too bad this forum doesn't have karma, cause if it did you'd get a +5 from me. I'm going to give this a shot. Keep us updated.

No problems, i'll grab the name and ingrediants when I get home tonight.

Has anyone given this a try yet? If so, is it starting to work?

Ive been lookin around for some high-concentrated Aloe - askin coworkers about it and such. They all havent heard that it could help out the bags under the eyes. Instead they suggest different methods of reducing them such as "warming up milk, letting it cool, then take bread and dab it on the under-eyes"

I'd rather try your method though, Jungle. So Im also lookin for the ingredients. Thanks!

Aloe

Just go to a health foods store and get 99.99% aloe jel or juice. It's really cheap and if you don't get results you can just drink it to help your body. Doesn't matter what brand as long as it's close to 100% aloe.

The main ingrediants were basically Aloe and Lanolin.

I'd say Blackbirdbeatle is right. Anything with high Aloe in it should do. The brand that I brought was locally produced and was just mostly Aloe in a moisturising cream.

My suggestion to you all is to use the most natural product you can find. Aloe and Lanolin are the ingredients that are doing the work... you don't want to be putting someone on your face (especially near your eyes, because that skin is so delicate) that contains lots of alcohol and fragrances and chemicals. Trust me. Blackbirdbeatle is right.

Also, while you are all worrying about fixing the dark under eye circles, you're really only treating the SYMPTOM and not the CAUSE. (It's like when you take an aspirin to make a headache go away without thinking about WHY you have a headache and preventing it, etc). Go to the source. While it's a good idea to use the aloe, etc... also give some thought to WHY you have dark circles under your eyes. Are you not getting enough sleep? Are you eating too much sugar? Are you under stress? It'll be a lot easier to make them go away if you're approaching this from both ends.
