Girls love the thrill of being in control, and guys love this thrill too, but guys love when their ego gets a boost. Sometimes just a kiss on the cheek can do this, but it'll get deflated when the girl says you're just a friend of IHAB.

Actually, women do have power most of the time. I see it all the time around me, dudes being slapped around by their girl because she has the p*ssy and most guys are too pathetic to walk out. One of the guys from my dancing school has a 16 year old girlfriend, and he is 25, and she's slapping his ass around. Another couple had the guy wait for the chick for 2 years while she f*cked around and all he did was wait for her. A good friend of mine is nothing more than a slave to his girl, running around the house all the time doing stuff for her. If I don't have attention given to me, I get bored of the group and walk to another group. Its natural to want to be either talked about or noticed.
women having the power? A good amount of power is given to girls by many guys. A thing that i had to learn was how to frame a relationship. I am still doing it on a consistent basis.

Women seek attention far more than men . Certainly it feels good to have ones ego stroked (and much of our desire for sex arises from the validation), but I don't think guys go actively seeking attention the way girls do. Guys want attention to score with girls; girls just want attention for attention's sake.
It used to be that modesty was a prized virtue among women. I used to believe that this was a function of patriarchy, male-domination etc. Now I think it was a way to keep the innate attention-wh*ring ways of women in check - keep the b*tches in line. With the institutions of patriarchy dismantled, we're now seeing the base natures of women coming to the fore. The modern American GRRRL is anything but shy and modest. But let's face it - no guy wants an attention-wh*re.

Again i think your perception of the situation is flawed.
The patriarchy did not repress the base natures of women, it placed women in a position that best suited their base natures.
The attention of men is a woman's power. A man's power may be measured by his alpha status amongst other men and ability to spread genes, while a woman's power resides in her desirability.
An undesirable girl/a girl who cannot get attention of males, is the equivalent of a beta male. The attention is simply a measure of desirability of women. Your question was already answered anyway.
