I recently ran across this load of BS (pasted below). This kind of crap seriously irritates me because it's an absolute lie. Even the part about "being more comfortable with their sexuality" is BS, there are TONS of horny young girls who love to f*ck and plenty of stuffy women in their 30's who aren't comfortable with sex. Has there been a formal peer reviewed study on this "mental" sexual peak? No, because it's a lie.

And biologically speaking women are most ripe for bearing children when THEY'RE YOUNG. This is a FACT. 16-18 are prime child bearing years, and there is a ton of evidence supporting this, and for anyone who disagrees I will point you to it. We don't even need science, just use common sense, it's obvious just by looking at younger women - their physical features indicate their healhty, fertile biological state, which is why they're so attractive.

Nature does not design things backwards, men and women go through puberty at roughly the same time (girls slightly earlier) but it's obvious what the intention is: have children young. Both MEN AND WOMEN. Nature, in her infinite wisdom, would NOT design a woman's sex drive to peak past the age where her body is most able to bear children.

This "sexual peak in their 30's" lie is propogated by jealous old women who are trying to leverage things in their favor because they know that men aren't as interested in them as they are the by the far more beautiful younger woman in her late teens and early 20's.

And before anyone says "but so and so's in her 30's and hot" yeah, I know they can be hot, but generally speaking younger women are way way hotter.

The commonly held misperception is that women reach their sexual peaks at 40 (or in this case 30's, to adjust the myth for frustrated "professional" women) and men reach their own at 18-20. This is a wildly perpetuated myth. The actual peak - or period of highest sexual frequency to fertility ratio - for women is (unsurprisingly) during their mid 20's. This period represents the time at which her physical attractiveness, sexual desire and fertility potential are all at their most viable for reproduction. This stage then gradually decays as she ages (i.e. a declining sexual marketability). Childbearing only accellerates this process as the benefits of oxytocin and estrogen replace testosterone in her bloodstream to forment nurturing in child-rearing.

However, there is a significant and quantifiable spike in sexual desire and hormonal levels in women as they reach middle age. This increase is brought about by glandualar and hormonal changes as the last of her eggs begin to drop in preparation for the onset of menopause in a sort of biological 'last ditch effort' to reproduce before she becomes sexually inviable. It should also be noted that immunity deficiencies, vitamin retention, hormonal imbalances and higher instances of osteoperosis accompany this transition, into menopause and after it. Of particular note is the higher occurances of extramarital affairs of women in this stage of maturity. Studies have shown that fully 2/3rds of women who have stated to have engaged in infidelity do so during the 5-7 year period immediately prior to menopause.

Yet again, our evolution and biologies conspire to thwart our social conventions.

A woman's peak fertility is at 23. So naturally, she'd be horniest then.

Now, it's conceivable (dunno about proven) that women might also get a slight 2nd wind right before menopause - aka "baby rabies." This may be more psychological than biological (dunno), but as you say - would represent a last ditch effort to get knocked up before her ovaries close up shop for good.

Anyhow, Dr. Tracy is a psychologist, not biologist...so there goes her credibility here *flush*. Bye-bye BS.

The bottom line, DJs, is dont focus on this at all. Whether you think its 23 or mid 30s, if you have this in your mind, and said woman you're interested in is outside that range, then you're going to be subcontiously thinking she's in a "non-optimum" sexual stage, which is only going to decrease your confidence level when dealing with her.

So any/all truth aside, I suggest going after any woman you're interested in with every skill you've got, thinking you're going to overcome any obstacle(s) that may exist.

I've always petitioned for younger ages for sex, lol. Kids do it anyways, why shouldn't guys who are experienced get a chance? (David Cross put it best in one of his Standup comedy routines). My cousins who are 17, 14 are dating girls who are 15 and younger, and THEY had sex before they dated my cousins (my cousins are boys). What does that tell you?

Society "coats" sexuality and mating in it's own blanket of expectation. Girls are getting their "physical maturity" younger and younger, and part of the reason laws preclude older men from tapping younger women, particularly underage girls, is their obvious ignorance or complete naivete surrounding fundamental clothing customs. The amount of girls 15 or even 16 (I leave 17 b/c they're legal by that point) who wear revealing, sexual clothing is astounding, YET, they don't expect anything to come of wearing such clothing?

And it's true. I believe the reason men think about sex SO much is so that ugly and fat women can get laid. On booze or without it, going only so long, MOST guys will drop their sex rating a few pegs just to pop 1 off. And, a butterface type of woman CAN be appealing if her sexuality and confidence is higher. I was shopping through the supermarket and just saw some women who I couldn't believe were actually penetrated by anything but a Gyno's finger.

And who gives 2 flying fawks about fertility? Maybe I'm the only guy, but I don't feel a biological imperative to HAVE children, so I wish women would stop assuming that. Maybe it rounds out their misguided fantasies of the perfect home, picket fence, husband, and children, but in all reality, as I've aged, doing the things I enjoy doing has always outweighed women, UNLESS...the woman enjoyed them too, or supported me in their pursuits, which would make her an awesome, enlightened human being.

The TRUTH is women ONCE they have their period are ready. And once they can't, it's over. A peak exists MENTALLY and PHYSICALLY, as most (the average) person abuses their body to where the rate/ability to have a child decreases. There are lots of factors for this...

I read an article by a woman who said ALL women who even "think" about having a child, should act and live AS if they're having it now. The body's ability to get pregnant is based on the status of it's health, and most women DECREASE their chances, not because of time specifically, but because they lead unhealthy, inactive lives. Hitting the gym a few times a week and balancing that off with a nice dose of smoking/drinking/drugs will you keep at a negative balance, and TIME will win, and you will be less fertile than you were. Younger women can get prego easier because they haven't added years of stress, the pills, poor dieting, inactivity, etc to the mix.

As far as men go, the same applies. Sperm are made in the body, and if the body is constantly flooded with toxins and poisons, it can't do it's normal jobs up to the level it's capable given a certain age. As such, men decline in certain areas WAY before they should. Sometimes due to genetics, like balding, but INTERNAL factors contribute, and it's sad that it happens. This is probably why whacking it once a day or something IS ok, since it gets rid of bad sperm which can be miscreated or created as a result of a bad body environment.

It's not that I CARE how people live, but I do care when people are so ignorant they blame the wrong things and are too stupid to even consider alternative possibilities. Women go on the pill. Women gain weight. Women try to lose weight but can't. Why OH Why am I gaining weight? B/c your body thinks it's prego, so it ACTS prego and stores weight in places a PREGO woman would store weight, ie tits, waist, hips, thighs and buttocks. Hence why a 17 yo girl can bump up her bra size in 1 month, and when she rounds out, you'll know why. Consequently, a woman will lose weight in a year or so by dropping the pill, to the delight of her male partner who know funds the trojan condom advertisements through his multiple sessions at CVS, or gets them free at local health clinics.

"Hot" and "Sexual" are two different things.

It is a myth, it's always women who are 30-40s that say this because their looks are dragging away (especially their sagging tits.) Go watch f*cking porn, women who are older (30+) seem bored and want it over because they've f*cked over 30-50 guys that sex just becomes meaningless. While with a young girl, man if you're the first or even second sexual partner.. that's even better. Less drama too.

She ignores the first fact that women really do mature more quickly than men....a 30+ woman is going to get awful tired of her 17+ man going out drinking all the time.....that future is not so bright at all.

Secondly, we all know that men are programmed to be attracted to younger fertile women. Just as women are likely to be attracted to men that can provide and protect......

Teen girls are NOT ideal candidates for child birth. In fact, their pelvis bones haven't even separated yet allowing a baby to born naturally. It's actually pretty dangerous for teen girls to give birth naturally. Childbirth is one of the main causes of death to teen girls around the world.

Again, peak fertility is at age 23. For women, it's all downhill after that...

The 30s peaking myth was based on Kinsey's studies that showed women enjoyed and orgasmed more then. Which is understandable due to the increased experience. But which is NOT the same as sex drive, though.

Sex drive is biologically driven by testosterone, and that starts decreasing as we age. And really takes a dip at 35 in women.

But, I can see how cougars like to perpetuate this myth...

Apparently some people here are confusing sexual peak with fertility peak, which are two entirely different things. A woman's desire and sex drive does peak in her 30's. Her fertility peaks around 25, with age 23-28 being the standard range considered ideal.

Yes, I am a woman who went through both stages and I can state quite positively that the sexual desire and sex drive of a woman in her 30's is ten times as strong as women in any other age group. Yes, younger women want sex, too...but for much different reasons...and their own enjoyment isn't it, trust me. Younger women just like to be able to talk to their friends about sex. It's all about competition amongst themselves and nothing at all to do with an actual sex drive.

You're only as "peaked" as the opposite sex thinks you are. A thirty five year old woman who has just "peaked" might only end up impressing her vibrator.

I dont get it, sure Wyldcougar and the rest of her 30+ cohorts can spout the "No we really are at our peak" bullsh!t until the cows come home.
