Everytime I post on facebook, no one comments or likes any of my posts. Maybe I am very boring person. What is the best way to make friends quickly?

It is kind of weird, He did not accept my friend request on facebook, I guess he feels guilty so each time after practice he chats me up. Why is this? It is so weird, why would someone who rejects my friend request from facebook want to chat me up.
